"True." He puts together a little forkful bite. "I can imagine she -was- surprised."

She savors a bit as well, an appreciative mmmm "Yes. I think she was prepared to find me trying to convert Brenda into some perverted henchwoman for your use leaving a broken hearted and bitter Kyle. Which is ridiculous."

He laughs, though, delighted.

"Oh, do you think we could convince her Kyle was to be turned as a mole on Rivervale? Some kind of revenge?"

His eye sparks.

"well, that's why it would be silly to have just Brenda. We both know a depraved power couple is better than one agent" A nip of food. "And we might but it's not worth it. I honestly want her realizing I really DO want what's best for the couple. "

A sigh, but he nods. He swallows his bite. "What is that?" honestly curious.

"Well, keeping the marriage intact , of course" A flutter of lashes "The fact that gives us two sained individuals who trust me impliciately and are either Unseelie influences by the time this is done, or Seelie who feel VERY in debt to me is just a fortunate happenstance. The best type of game is the one where even if you lose, you win" A smile.

He grumbles and pouts, taking another bite.

A sympathetic look, "What would YOU want to do with them dear?"

"I couldn't say." Primly, sipping his wine. "I haven't met them."

"Would you like to some time? " She asks

He shrugs. "I don't generally find myself in Bergen."

"I was thinking I could arrange them to visit here" She says "I love you and I know how good you've been"

"No, no, this is your little project. I shan't meddle." Bite.

She gauges "Well, I really wasn't going to make much of a project out of them. The professor asked me to help a bit, so I did. "

"As well you should. Your trago, yes? You should help them." He chews.

"They're auditioning to be my traggo. There are other goat gathers. Heck, I might find better in Seattle. Though to be honest? I'm kind of glad Grunge is done."

He tsks. "I don't think you need my opinion on that..... fad."

She smiles "No I don't. You're a man of style. "

"Thank you." He raises his glass in a toast.

SHe raises her own "And Grunge was just..nasty. I get the message it was going for, but there's such a thing as an overshoot"

A thin smile. "Some wouldn't know real revolution if it happened to them."

"I do look forward to Seattle NOW" She admits "Sounds like it might be full of ..well, promise"

"Travel arrangements are made, hotel is reserved..... all that needs to be done is pack and depart on the appointed day." Sip.

"Delightful, thank you" She says grateful

"I already let Caesar and the mothers know we'd be out"

"Ah, yes, Hugh has agreed to pet and house sit. I think. I'm almost certain."

"Pretty sure. We'll leave some of that barbecue he likes..."

William nods. "And some cash, just in case. And so on."

She looks at him "I love you"

He pauses, blinks. "I.... I love you too." Nonplussed.

CC's eyes grow large "Just.. it amazes me sometimes how much."

"It... I...." He frowns and looks at his plate, then drinks the rest of his glass.

"Sorry I didn't mean to alarm you" She doesn't seem upset

"Not alarmed. Sulking."

"Sulking?" A surprised look "What for?"

"I was in a fine snit for being excluded and was planning an -excellent- revenge and retaliation, I assure you, and then you have to go and say that."

"Well, it's only true" She points out

"Hmmph."

"And you weren't excluded."

"I didn't plan any visits. And I offered to bring some folks over if you wanted to meet them. You're not excluded, at least not by anything but chance"

"Except that you were planning to endebt the Thomases, so you would have an entre to Rivervale, and by your request and our agreement, I'm not to play there." He points out.

"I'm no adherent to 'Good for the goose is good for the gander' Dearest. If you want to play there, you should. But I may feel the slightest bit neglected, abandoned, and shut out about it."

"Oh my" She puts her hands on his "Honey, I am sorry. I've been insensitive. I didn't take your feelings into account . I was just helping them out at the professor's request and didn't consider how that would be one area you'd be shut out of because of me. I guess I can see why you'd feel like a prize was being dangled and yanked away. No. Kerri can help them. The Wayburtons can. I'll distance. I won't even sleep with the Thomas boy on his 18th birthday as a present" Crossing her heart

"If you want to play there, you should. After all, I have the whole rest of the world to bustle in." Stubbornly.

"It's not fun as fun to play when you dont' get to cut the cards" She says

"You cut just fine; you don't need me for that."

"Need smeedh" She says "It's not as much fun without the man I love around. Damn it. I knew this Traggo thing was a bad idea." A scowl "Non satyrs always feel cut out one way or another"

An exasperated exhale. "The Traggo 'thing' is an -excellent- idea, as the two men you love you have been telling you! It is not the Traggo, nor its location, that bother me!"
