Zara was here not long ago, a wonderful..visit with her Earl. It is good to enter Firnost without looking over her back. Bit by bit, she reclaims fonder memories. And, of course, the library! Oh, that has always been safe. After all, the Madame Sinistre (Sp) is terrifying to trouble makers, reassuring to book lovers.. and even when she's not there... well, she has ways of knowing if one makes trouble to a book.

And thus, she is welcome and soon is moving among the shelves. Quite literally THROUGH some of them. Non sluagh do not appreciate that there are whole stacks behind the cracks in the walls here. A few might know of it, and use portal passage, but most non sluagh? Clueless.

No, what her problem is finding more current books on politics... or perhaps even notes and journals that are updated. Not unheard of.

And her salvation comes in notes by Quinlan ap Daireann! Oh how lovely, he has donated a few books and even correspondences . More modern mind you and normally beneath her interest... but in this case it might help.

It might be somewhat embarrassing, but Zara realizes that she is far behind on the parliment of Dreams. She knew that folks 'claiming' to represent the Shadow Court as some pro commoner modernist movement had made in roads (Though there is rot under that mask to be sure) but she had not realized how much within the Parliment. And she also reads up on something... Banner Houses? Yes.. they've been recognized formally. Imagine that...potentially hundreds can come forward. A personal note by Quin indicates there are even signs that some are emergeing as if in response to the offical okey dokey_

ah! Bless Quinn, he cites an OLDER Book... mentioning in a footnote a title Clutching the Banner: The Loyalists Behind and What Became of them by one Oliver Trask . Trask is a respected historian at least, known for avoiding the 'blame game' of the shattering and retreat and more searching for the truth on all sides. As sluagh admire the truth, he's considered a commendable historian by many, though other commoners claim he is too quick to point out attrocities AGAINST Surviving sidhe that stayed behind... as if it were some moral equalizer.

And it turns out, the library here has a copy of Clutching the Banner! An old book, more her style.

Oh frustration, it would appear it's blacked out well and truly. Whoever did this, Zara can only hope other sluagh tracked them down and punished them well. Trask does write this one thing Banner House Truthbranch soon found difficult times, for while many loyalists were hunted, it was clear that while Arcadia was closed, some agents of dark houses had sent agents after them. Seeking to wipe them from history so that a Liam prophecy would not come to pass. As of this writing, Banner House Truthbranch is believed to be completely undone

One thing about the Liams, they are a scholarly house. They are known for it, even tolerated for it by those who otherwise would scorn them utterly. There are books by Liams here, plenty of them of various histories, phillosphies and more...

but no book on Liam prophecies. Not at Firnost.

Vexation and consternation... she will likely have to go to a Liam hold or at least Liam friendly one and- dash and bother, Ardent Harbor is one, but maybe another would be found and researched. She..wait, wasn't there some Horse Ranch? Recently that got saved? Likely NOT known for books, but perhaps it still might have a lead.
