He seems defeated in more ways than one, "Swear I shall bar my agents from Rivervale's fief and myself. I shall bar them from Reiniscance... and myself. I do all this hearby swear, with warning that if I am attacked I may defend myself" "And attacked as most others would define, not I. Brekke stands and watches, glaring down at the sidhe, the bloodied scrap folded carefully in her hand.

The glamour locks, the oath takes effect

Frank nods. "Let's go."

Brekke watches for one more moment, then nods and turns with Frank, putting Siv between them as they go so they can both support/guard/love her.

And she lets them... the last of the elderform melting away, perhaps it was just it wearing off naturally, or perhaps there is something to the power of the family restoring her.

Indeed, she leans p and kisses her dad on the cheek, "Thank you, Da. I know what that cost you."

"Walk or pull him put and take the car?"

"Walk. They will still be looking for the car. On foot, we can use our weapons better. How far is it?"

"Walk. " She agrees "Sides... by now the car is reported stolen. Might be amusing if the police catch him fastened to it. EIther way, his friends will post bail."

Frank knows a trod... Olgar and he used it, about 8 miles from here. From there they can get to Firnost..and from Firnost?

And so he leads them.

"Siv...I think Bancroft will be waiting at the Lodge for you. He has been very...difficult."

A grunt

"He was difficult to you both, for me?" And she beams "Aww...he's so sweet I.." A cough "I will give him a talking to. "

"Mm. Do." Brekke agrees, and gives Frank a look.

Frank keeps his eyes in the path.

She looks away, down at the path as well. "You are well, though, Siv? Not hurt?"

Siv gives both her parents a squeeze "We are together, I am VERY well."

a beat

"Might have bite wound on my shoulder though"

"Other than that, WELL"

"A bite wound? From what?" Brekke pauses to get a look, if the clothing will allow.

Frank stops to investigate this wound. "Brekke." He rumbles.

"One of the chimera after me it... I was wearing leather armor.. the jacket...also acts as such but..."

YUP... two holes deep into her shoulder...the wound clotted for now

Ok, they move simultaneously. Frank withdraws.

SIv sighs and stays still like a hapless wolf cub about to be licked by parents

A frown, and Brekke checks the surrounding flesh for lividity that would indicate infection...or discoloration that might mean venom.

Looks like the leather took the venom... LUCKY...

but it will need to be cleaned out and tended to at home.

Frank, seeing the wound, might decide ice cream will be in order.

Brekke explains this to the others with unmistakable relief.

"So THAT was the green stuff that dripped off me. Oh that makes so much sense now..." Siv says as if it is no big thing.

And at least one grump's hair turns a bit grayer.

But they do get home

He nods. "Any change or new symptoms, tell us."

"Yes dad.."
