He arrives at the time mentioned; a shaggy dark-blonde-furred modern-day Berkeley hippie, a splotch of color against a dreary backdrop in his long-sleeved tie-dye shirt (blues and greens, mostly), and denim vest with whimsical patches. He's tall(ish) and lanky, in his late teens, very pale blue blue eyes, and long blonde dreadlocks caught back with an orange rasta sock. He has a blonde goatee. Barefoot, he's dressed today in baggy dark jeans that disappear to Fae sight for the most part, the way one's nose tends not to be noticed in one's field of vision unless focused on* He is carrying a backpack when he arrives, slung loosely over his back. There are googly-eyes stuck to it. Clattering in and pushing the door open as he enters easily, without apparent care*

The shop is dark, lit primarily by the glow of computer screens as patrons jack in and caf up. More than one of those present are typing away frantically, and a few tables are in low, collaborative conversation. It takes a moment to see the boggan tucked away in a corner with a view; he almost certainly sees the satyr first.

He grins, and heads over, edging around tables and being careful not to trip over or step on cords* "Hey, man, what's up? Emerson, right? Doyle told me to get in touch. You want anything from, like, the menu? Think I'm gonna check out if they have cinnamon rolls, get one to go."

He sticks hand out, an offer to shake as he unlimbers his pack to hook over the chair*

The one-eyed boggan rises and shakes the offered hand. "Emerson, yes. Thank you for meeting me. Please, order whatever you like and have them put it on my tab."

"It's cool, I got cash. Always nice to meet new people, dude, see new places. Just give me a second?" He clatters on over to check out the pastry-case and menu; no cinnamon rolls, so he settles on a bottled Dasani, bringing it back and sliding into the chair while he twists off the cap. Still grinning* "You come here a lot, dude? Cool place, even if they, like, forgot to pay the electric bill or something. What's up, man?"

He drops his voice to a low, directed murmur. "I understand you have something of a ... magical green thumb."

"No more than a lot of dudes, I guess. Just, like, most people don't talk to their plants, if you know what I mean? Helps out a lot, sure you can kind of see." He tales a drink, and replaces the cap before reaching back to tuck the bottle into the side mesh of the pack. He returns his gaze to the boggan, quizzically* "You need something?" He pitches his own voice lower, as well. It's a youthful baritone, warm through his smile* "Like, specialize in White Widow, but have some crosses I'm trying, if, like, you want. Discount until they get established at the dispensary as a thing, you know?"

The boggan nods. "Glamorous stuff?"

He shrugs, eyebrows raising questioningly* "Not, like, usually? I mean, you can always add your own, unless you mean, like -- dusted with something? Raves, man, some people like a little DMT rolled in. Pretty harmless, man, or I wouldn't sell it, you know? And know this dude, Theo, who like -- experiments with blends, planning to see if he can get something more psychedelic, maybe trigger some inspiration, if you know what I mean? But, like, have to figure out how to ask first. Mundie, you know."

"Why, did Doyle tell you about the last one or something? Kind of rare, when I do that, man, and usually before I leave."

"It...yeah, triggered something, all right." Oddly enough, his grin softens into something almost -- fond, as he says this*

The boggan is all business. "I'd heard something about a chimerical component to something being distributed around here, and was interested in tracking down more than just a sample."

His smile slips a little at the lack of friendliness in return, and he leans back with a exhaled sigh. Yeah, just like some of the dispensary dudes he doesn't like dealing with* "If there were, man, you know it would either....you know, make them See....or it would just work on us. What kind of effect were you after?"

The boggan leans back, thinking... then shrugs and comes forward again. "Actually, White Widow might work very well. Do you find it suitable for baking?"

"For that, you would be fine with trim and shake, dude. Save you a little money, there, and yeah, it works for that. Some of the crosses are more like...pain relief, couchlock, depending what you're after, but like...for a creative head-high, Widow's the best."

"I grow all organic, too, if you are into that."

He shrugs and bobs a nod agreeably; some people care, some don't, it seems to say*

He nods. "I agree. Hm. I wonder where that rumor came from.... professional curiosity, you see. Well. No real matter. Yes, organic would be suitable."

"Probably because Tis can't keep a secret to save her ass, man, you want the truth. And don't get me wrong, it's really nice ass, but, like...when I said it triggered something, I meant it. A little White Widow, a little DMT, a kiss of ...the glamorous life, man, and she was...the chica was riding high and kicking out sparks."

"Doesn't always happen, though."

He nods. "So it was more a matter of Enchanting than chimerical properties?" He speaks quietly; the mortals around them so intent on their discussion it's doubtful they hear, or if they did, understand.

"Might have been, but never had it happen before without the DMT. You know what that is, right, man?" The pale blue eyes are studying him, thoughtfully*

"Yes, it's a natural hallucinogen... to put it in the short form. I doubt you need a chemistry lesson from me." Not without a dark humor.

"Nah, dude. Took the classes already." *He almost misses the dark humor...almost...but something in the boggan's tone causes him to shift uneasily in his chair and look more closely, quizzically "You're not out to buy, are you, man. What, you think I'm competition, too, dude?" Too?*

"To the contrary, I -am- looking to buy."

He relaxes a little, bobbing a nod. There is relief in his expression; his face is open, guileless, easy for the boggan to read* "If you have ideas, like, about a chimerical component..." His eyes do dart to the side, checking no one is listening, before looking back, still questioning. Perhaps there is a trace of growing enthusiasm, his blue eyes lighting at the idea* "Like, it sounds like it has promise, you know? I know the dudes that can probably make it happen, if, like, you have some guidelines or ideas already. But, like, not sure how it would work on the mundies, except, like...indirectly."

"Prime them, maybe."

"It could be worth experimentation, assuming you have your hands on the plants from seed, and you have the resources to imbue it. There are Faerie Hounds, are there not?"

"Yeah, man. Totally." He is gazing at him thoughtfully* "Tell you what. I have clones, mostly, but like, I'll take one, and put it aside for you. And treat that one.....special, as much as I can. Like, I wonder if growing it IN the....well, like, bringing dirt back, anyway. And it takes about 60 days, less if I talk them into really pushing themselves, and like....they usually listen." Thinking, raising a thumb to gnaw the nail, as his eyes move up and to the left* "Or if you need it sooner, I can get hands on a faster strain."

"No, no, not necessary. And, please don't trouble yourself on my account; feel free to pursue it on your own accord, if you're interested. I will work with a standard strain of White Widow, however."

"Good enough, dude. I brought some, if like...you wanted a sample, or to just....kind of go all out, brought the full twenty-eight."

"You come well recommended. I'll take it all. Have you ever cooked with it, personally?"

"Yeah, man. made cannabutter, wax, shatter, all that -- but, like, for time and laziness, I don't do it as much. Can, if you need it, though," Agreeably, bobbing a nod*

"Kind of stopped as much when Jade got into the cookies. Told her not to, but like...she had to find out on her own, so I let her."

"No, I think I'd prefer to do it. Part of the process."

"Right on. I'll bring you some trim, when do you need it?"

"As soon as is convenient." Easily.

"Right on. I'll text you, like...tomorrow, or day after, cool? If there's none already trimmed, I'll like, do it and get it ready. Enough for one small batch, and if you like it, man, then we can work out a deal going forward? Since, like, you sound like you researched, I figure if you like the quality, you aren't just a one-timer, you know?" Easily, grinning*

"Have a lot of repeat customers, man, so like...I'm sure you'll be happy with it."

"I may come to you again, but it is not likely to be a regular practice. Still, good to know someone in the area, whom I can trust." with a genial smile.

"Then put out a good word for me, man, that's all I need," A grin* "We cool here? Anything else I can help you out with?"

"Sorry to like, disappoint, but I'll like...keep you updated on how your plant does."

"Excellent! And no, I'm quite satisfied, thank you!"

"Right on, man. You got my number? yeah, I texted you...I'll drop it off at the warehouse when it's ready." *He is retrieving his pack, sliding it on and rising to offer over his hand again, smiling warmly and with obvious pleasure "Nice to meet you, dude."

"The pleasure is mine." He stands as well and offers his somewhat pudgy hand.
