"Hold yer hippy happy horses. I'm comin'"

Finally, the door opens to reveal an only mildly-scowly nocker. A pair of wire-framed glasses is perched on her nose.

A -broad- grin. "Janet. Hello."

"Hey Bilbo. Coming in?" A quick tug of her mouth to one side in what might have been a smile, and she steps back (cane-less!) to allow him entry.

He laughs softly and does, indeed, enter. The house.

"If you like, yes. Thank you. I am, may I say, -delighted- you seem to be feeling better. How is your pain?" A flash of professional concern.

She kicks the door closed behind him, and leads towards the kitchen. She still has a slightly akimbo gait, but the limp is lessened. "Eh. Been worse."

"Is there anything I can do?"

"Well, you already sent whisky..."

"You received it? Wonderful! I hope you enjoy the rest. How was your Beltaine?" Following her down the hall.

"Meh. Snooty nonsense. Th'kid was invited, with me. Did get to see some old guild friends."

"A court? How... well. I hope you found a way to enjoy yourself."

"See? Your whisky was a lifesaver. I totally furkin' won..."

"I am -so- glad to hear it was of assistance." He smiles. "How is Ice?"

"It's spring." She shrugs. "Coffee?"

"Thank you, yes, and... is that an answer? I'll mind my own business if you rather. I... I do understand how spring can affect those of a certain nature."

"And wilders, nu?" She putters about, making a pot.

"Wilders, indeed." He watches her move around the kitchen.

She's probably never going to lose that limp entirely - but she seems to be moving without pain.

He moves to position himself

When she turns, THERE he is. "I'm pleased to see you improved, my dear."

One plumed eyebrow raises. "A redcap. Who knew?"

Redcap?

"Th'surgeon."

"Ahhh... a redcap surgeon." He nods, and touches her hand where it rests, leaving his atop it. "I heard some mention. I'd love to meet with him. Learn what I can."

A dubious look at the hand. "He's... a piece of work. Stubborn."

The boggan nods. "Stubborn men can be like that."

"You know a lot of stubborn men?" She pulls her hand back, folding both arms across her chest.

"Yes. And not a few stubborn women."

A curt nod. "I can imagine."

"Yourself included."

"Ha! That I am!" Shark-grin.

"Janet... will you have me?"

"...."

He lifts an eyebrow... and this is a boggan eyebrow we're talking about.

"And CC?"

"She is well. Why?"

"Would she be so well, if you start collecting friends with benefits?"

A pause, then the start of a sly grin. "Ah. Janet, have you ever been, ah, associated with a satyr?"

"Oh, I know THEY wander..."

"They do. And they do not hold others close, without.... that is, not without special arrangement." His eye twinkles.

"So - you have a hall pass?"

"I do." He puts his hand on hers, and slowly strokes up her arm.

"...Bill.." Uncertain, a hint of a frown. "What are you lookin' for?"

"It is spring. It is ... not a comfortable time of year. Can you .... make it moreso?"

"Well. Haven't known many boggans..."

"Biblically?"
