Imbolc is bustling for Goldfinch. Mostly it's all about the music!

Linwood avoids crowds by using his keyboard as a barrier. The Centaur bangs out some awesome tunes

It was a pretty quick turn-around...coming back from Rivervale after healing up from the circus adventure, a day with a couple of classes at Rutgers, then Sylvi hurried back up to make sure Goldfinch got the proper Imbolc attention.

She's making the rounds of the crowd, smiling and checking on everybody!

Catching up with the local gossip!

Her Veep strums her guitar and deals with the older crowd, which is in the minority

Of course, rumor has it Siv got hurt recently and is somehow 'grounded'? Which is super weird, because she's got her GED and is an older wilder now. Did you hear that Jordan , of all folks, has a girl friend now? He's such a gloom and doom sort who wants that? Oh and guess what else, there's a new pair of Kithain twins in the area but they've not gone to either the lodge OR Goldfinch. How are they getting glamour and what are they hiding? Folks are freaked out by lily's parents not being kithain anymore. Pretty spooky. A drag queen who was going to read at a library has been put in the hospital by some uknown attacker.

She fields all the news as best she can.

"Well, Siv can use a break, anyway, right? But I bet she's pissed."

"SO pissed"

"Wait...Jordan has a girlfriend?" Surprise. "No, I hadn't heard that. Who?"

"Anybody know the twins' names?"

"Yeah, but...they weren't quite normally kithain to begin with, right? So...." A shrug.

"His girlfriend seems to be mortal, and to everyone's surprise, NOT Canadian. I think her name is Beth."

"Nope, no clue of their names"

"Whoa, wait, WHAT? Where did this happen?" about the drag queen.

"Last day of January" someone says "Some in the community are scared"

She scowls. "Any fae involved?"

"In the attack? Nope. Not even the redcaps. not that Prissy liked the insinuation. She's gonna find who did it, she says, and make a blood eagle of him, whatever that is"

Sylvi's eyes go wide. "Uh...it's a Norse thing...and it's not pretty. I get where she's coming from but..." A sigh. "I have to try to talk her out of it." Even though I really don't want to.

"Well, she's over there if you want to talk to her... good thing we brought so much food. "

She takes a deep breath and picks up a plate of chicken wings to make a peace offering. "Hey, Prissy, can I talk with you?" she says, offering over the plate.

"Hhuh? Sure" She takes the plate

And tilts it against her open mouth and sucks in the wings

She draws her aside a bit. "Listen, I'm hearing things about you wanting to do a blood eagle on somebody?"

No use dancing around it. Direct is best.

Chew chew chew.. then GULP "huh? Oh yeah, gonna teach whatever fucker did that a lesson but good. Piper's bio da is a Drag Queen, what if it had been him?'

"No, I get it, I just heard about the whole situation, and I'm pissed. But...they're mortals. Escheat, right?"

"Well, yeah. I'm not allowed to KILL fellow changelings" A munch

"Yeah, but...." she sighs. "Prissy, can you maybe make them think you're giving them a blood eagle? I mean, hey, that way you can do it to them more than once!"

"They beat on a guy in a dress. I get it, it's bully 101, but it's such low fruit they kind of DESERVE to be shown what real bullying of caliber is"

"They do. They really do. And I can't force you to stop. But I can't be okay with you actually killing a mortal, flat out."

"Oh, sure, pluasible deniablity" elbow wink "I get it. I'll tell folks you asked me not to"

"No, Prissy, I mean it."

"Is there some other way you can torment and terrify them without actually killing them? That just seems kind of too easy on them, y'know?"

"mmmph..." Prissy says "Dirk says something like that. He says if you kill and eat them it's over... but if you elt them live and heal, you got someone to abuse for years. I always thought he was taking it to slow. i'd rather feast at once than nibble myself, but i guess there's merit in it. Dead assholes can't keep warning others not to be assholes"

"Yup. Object lesson." She nods, quietly impressed with Dirk being the wise one.

"Fine, but if it were anyone else telling me how to terrorize others, I'd have TWO eagles bleeding" A dark look "Be glad you're you"

"Trust me, I appreciate that. But to be clear, I know that I can't tell you what to do, and I'm not trying to pretend that I can. But I'm just asking you as a friend."

A sigh "Shit. Touchy feeling trolls suck. Fine. I won't kill the guy whoever he is"

"Thanks, Prissy. You rock." A grateful smile. "And when you find who did it, let me know. I might want to watch."
