Sylvi returns to Goldfinch after a very refreshing trip to Darkgate!

Sylvi and Colton had a long overdue talk, and more. and she made him have fun, introducing him to the theate crew as PEOPLE not folks to be guarded.

"Oh, Gerd! Hey!" She gives a smile and a wave as passes through the doors under the Goldfinch stained glass.

Gerd says "How'd it go?" She follows her

"Good!" she smiles, then "Really good, actually. He's...well, there was some stuff I didn't realize, and we talked, for real talked."

"How 'bout here? Things okay?"

A smile "Good! Colton's too good a man to keep shit from you" then "Oh fine. Prissy and Luca have been handling things. I just arrived to bring food in. Linwood is musing in the back middle area but tha's the only daughter of Eve"

"Ooh, a regular, or somebody new?"

"Karen I think?" She says "Piper and his regular. Now if you're looking for new blood well" She shrugs "There's Archie and Cal. at school?"

Freshmen? Archie is skittish, Cal seems cautious

She furrows her brow. "You think they've got some gifts?"

"Well, I know they need help" She states "And I think this place could help them. Ah... they're gay. Archie's old man would explode if he knew. And Cal is worried the football team wonn' give him a try out if he comes out. I wouldn't tell you this except, well, " SHe looks about the studio freehold "Maybe this place would bee a good place for thhem to be themselves?"

"Well, sounds like they totally need a safer space to be, at least sometimes. You want to invite them to come see the place? I mean...I don't know them, so if Senior Head Cheerleader does the inviting...I dunno, I'd think it were some kind of trap, if I were them."

"I'll do it. " She nods seeing her point

"Cool. And good looking-out. How're you doing, yourself?"

"Getting As in classes" She says "All this talk of college from the elders has me eager to build up my GPA"

"Well..." Sylvi helps her unpack whatever food she brought into the kitchenette "...probably a good idea to get a jump on it. Those are some good grades!"

"thanks." She says. the smell of baked bread, roastt meats, and buttter

"Mmm...Okay, I'm guessing you baked the bread, and the roast meats are from Mom?"

"Ah ha... in point of fact... " then she sighs "How'd you know?"

"Because your bread is amazing." A grin and a wink.

A smirk "I'll take the flattery. Thanks" she looks over "Colton going to visit more often?"

"He's going to try. More importantly, he's also going to make a point to hang out 'like a civilian' in his off hours. I didn't realize he doesn't really have any friends up there."

"Oh for.. Wudlig is nnot that far away from him... he .. oh your boyfrriend is a good man but a bit thick"

"Well...yeah." A pause. "How're you and Wudlig doing?"

"It's dramatic you know? I'm reralizing I was unfair to him, but I don't know if I.."

A sigh "it's complicated"

She tilts her head. "Want to talk about it?"

"No I just..." She sighs "I worry it's nnnot THE LOVE"

"Yeah?" She takes a bit of the bread and puts some butter on it for herself. "I mean...maybe it's not. Maybe it is. I wish I could give you some way to tell for sure."

"I worrry I'm chickening out .We haven'tt... you know? yet. But he's been SO patient"

"Gerd, you're...fifteen now?"

"Right" She says

"Do you want to go there with him?"

"NO..." a delay "And yes? I don'tt know"

"Well, if you don't want to yet, don't. If you think that's going to tank your relationship with him...well...does he know you're putting it off because you're not ready yet? He might be thinking it's about...you know...." she indicates her face.

"Oh right. you know, it's not his fault he's ugly. he's got better hygene than I do" A huff "And I'm over that"

"Oh, I totally get that, but...I mean, you've told him, right?"

"maybe I havennn't" A frown "Guess I owe Colton an apology. I just figured wudlig would GET it? you knnow?"

"I think we've both made that assumption, now and then."

A sigh. "It'd be nice if we just always knew what to say and when to say it."

"Oh.. you're sayinng you thought Colton would KNOW he should talk to you... " A frown "Okay, we're SMARt girls right? How did we both miss this?"

"Well, I can't speak for you, but...well, first of all, my boyfriend can sometimes be a bit of a knucklehead. But also...I guess I'm kind of self-centered. Sometimes."

"But you're also both great people" She assusres, puttting butter on her own bread
