Siv and Gerd unload the pineapples, Leis, and Coconuts

"I can now get tto Hawaii" Gerd smirks "thanks to the Kestrel"

"Now that's some teamwork! You guys are awesome." Sylvi helps with the artful arrangement of flora and produce.

Lucia and Romana grab some "We'll boggan up a room you uys aren't in?" Lucia says

"Oh, excellent! Thank you!"

And off they go

Oddly, the hold seems to keep producing large quantities of throw pillows. That should make for comfortable seating for a luau-style party.

Siv says "Well, I have to spend some time at the lodge, oh I'm ggonna miss PIper's early songs, she'll be amazing"

Gerd blinnks "Where are the pillows from?" She fluffs one "ooo cozy"

"Hey" Dirk comes down "Why the hell did my mom send me with wicker baskets and a hammock?"

"Siv, come by later, okay?"

"I know, right? They're comfy!"

"Because, Dirk, your mom is SMART. Hammock? Stroke of brilliance. Help me hang it up!"

"I will " Siv prromises "Spiced rum? I won'tt miss it"

Dirk grunts and helps put it up. "Okay.. and yeah, she's smart, but why is a hammock a smart thing?"

"Because we're having an Imbolc luau! A hammock fits into the whole theme perfectly!"

"Heck, shame we can't keep it. A hammock near the bale would be sweet" Siv smiles "Of course Narwhal has one so I'm biased"

Dirk shrugs "Mom could probably donate it full time. She's always doing nice stuff. "

"Well, if the balefire likes it, maybe she'll sprout one of her own. But I don't want to take AnneMarie's stuff...largely because she's always doing nice stuff!"

"I know!" Dirk grouses, but not AT Sylvi "but I can't break her of the habbit"

"It makes her happy! I mean, except when it exhausts her. She's not letting herself get overworked, is she?"

the flame seems to rise a bit as if studying the hammock, getting measurements

Sylvi smiles at the flame and gives the hammock a push to set it swinging.

"Dad and she both work too hard. They need a damned vacation" Dirk says

"You're not kidding. Hey....do you think...we could totally send them on vacation, right?"

"I mean...Dr. Lee's more than overdue for a vacation after...well...all of that."

"Send em offf how? " he says "Even Symon hasn't figured out how to slow em down"

"I bet if AnneMarie thought it was a mission she had to accomplish, she'd find a way." She blinks. "I mean... she would."

"And you know we would totally team up to find a way to make it happen."

Gerd ponders, then snaps her fingers "Like when Uncle Frank got the Chief to take lessons in ships for 2 weeks, in prep for that sea quest. She thougght it was all prep and had a vacation despite herself"

Siv blinks "he did ..wait da TRICKED her into a vakay?"

this was, oddly before Siv's time

"He totally did! I remember, they came back all tanned and relaxed and happy."

"Oh man, they never told me about that" Siv is flabberghasted "Dad? Sneaky?"

Gerd grins "Either your mom hasnn't figured it out or..."

"Oh, I think she figured it out."

"But yeah...your Dad totally has a sneaky side."

"too mannerly to spoil his fun" Siv grins

"Okay we're done" Lucia says as se comes in, then gasps "Where did the hammocks come from?"

"Well, AnneMarie sent it...."

"wait" Siv looks up "Hammocks? Plural I.. wow"

Sylvi looks around.

the flame sizzles smugly, for next to Anne Marie's hamock, is another one, a new one in flashy style

"Oooooh! Tassels!"

Dirk blinks "the bale is showing off, and had to make an even flashier hammock. Like very 'look at me look at me' " he eyes Sylvi "guess what they say is true. freeholds take after their holders"

Siv tries to cover a laugh, and snorts

"Oh shush, you two, it's beautiful" Lucia grins "And I LOVE the tassels"

Sylvi gives Dirk a glare and sticks her tongue out at him. But... well...okay...he's got a point.

She looks to the balefire. "It's beautiful, and I love it!"
