Jonas looks troubled, and he seeks out, Sylvi.

He might not find her right away, but there's a RECORDING sign outside the little studio where she's started doing her YouTube videos, and he can hear the bright tone of her voice within.

And he waits patiently. He may try the vending machine, and finds he's gotten, instead of the candy bar he hoped for , a sllide whistle

His timing is pretty good. It's only about five minutes before she emerges. "Oh! Hey, Jonas." Her appearance might be a little startling...apparently she's getting a jump on the October videos, and she's started with "sickly pallor" as the first level.

"Salutations.. is this a bad time?" He inquires

"Well, if you don't mind looking at this face the way it is now, it's fine. Or you could give me five minutes to get a little cleaner?"

"Whatever makes you more comfortable" He says "I'm.. looking for help rearding... my lovers. And I thought they might forgive me if I wentt to you instead of the Hearth"

A blink. "Hoo-boy. Okay, listen...I think I need a cleaner face for that. Want to wait down by the 'Fire? I'll be right down."

"Certainly, and thank you" He moves on that way, seeming a bit distracted by his concerns

And Sylvi gets to work making her face look less ghoulish and more presentable.

She doesn't go for anything fancy in her revised look, just neat and clean and features highlighted. And that's how she looks when she catches up with him in the Freehold proper. "Sorry about that."

"No problem... I know this isn't your job, consulting... but Piper loves this place and you are it's leader"

"No, totally! If there's something up, I'd like to help, if I can. I mean, I haven't seen Piper today. I'm guessing she'll be back before her next lesson on schedule."

"I ..she maybe away for a few days. I hope it's only a few" He winces "It would appear she and Siv have had an altercation, of sorts"

"Oh. Well...." She bites her lip for a moment, but then says, "would you be offended if I say that that seems kind of inevitable at some point? I mean, Fiona and satyr?"

"No offended, but not greatly comforted eitther. It's about Siv's new squire"

"Ah...I think I missed a chapter. Siv has a squire?"

"Yes, Squire Kassidey of House Liam... apparently no one in Caere Falken would take her as a squire, do to her house. About .. nineish? Seems a precicious girl."

A double-take/blink. "Siv took a squire. Who's a sidhe. Who's also Liam." She lets out a breath between her lips, making them buzz. "Wow. Did not see that coming. And apparently, neither did Piper?"

"Piper did not. Apprently the squire was intended for Mountai... pardon, SIR Frank, sent by Counnt Hemlock. However provisos were made someone else could take her on, and Siv asked for the honor. Siv feels it's time she took on more knightly duties. She feels..." he sighs "She feels she has a great deal of privilege, but is forgoing the obliege. she wants to mature as a knight. Well, that's well and good to me, but Piper did not enjoy the surprise meeting at our apparement with the girl"

A wince. "Oh, wow. Well...I mean, Siv's pretty impulsive on her own, and even more so since going Fiona, right? So...I get that she probably did it on the spur of the moment, and for all the right reasons, but...yeah, that's not really fair to surprise your partners with a new relationship obligation."

"Probably wasn't the smartest idea to have the squire there when she explained the situation."

"And Siv realizes that now... but Piper .. did not respond well to.. the Liam aspect. I fear she still bears some trauma from her incarceration ... but telling Siv how 'they' that is Liams are... well, her FATHER is a Liam so... well, Siv did apoloize, but PIper wennt off to clear her head. To.. get away for a bit.. she actted like she'd be back, but I don't know.. what if we lose her?"

She looks at him a moment. "You're afraid she's not ever going to come back."

"Siv has thrown herself into duty with her squire to take her fears off her mind, but I think she is concerned too. She realizes she was impulsive, bu she won' give up that squire. And Piper may never accept the squire. Annd yes, I am .... If I lose one, I'll lose them both."

"Why's that?"

A frown "Not sure you'd understand. I'm in nlove with them both. Which is odd. Fiona, satyr, one expect them to ..adapt to polygamy. I ALMOST didn't. I never told Siv or Piper how close I came tto stepping out of our triangle so they could have each other. Instead I... if I stay with just one, the other may think of me as just... " An inhale "This is an unseemly overshare. Let's just say clean breaks are better"

"I don't want to push," she assures. "So...okay. You would be more comfortable with a clean break, if it comes to that. But...it's been how long? A few hours?"

"I suppose my trepidations aren't rational.. yes. Gerd helped her, but won't talk to me about WHERE she is"

"So...you have to wait. And trust."

"Which, y'know, I get it isn't easy."

"I ..." he nods "You're right, but .. what I want to ask of you is.. .be there for them... if they call onn nyou. I suspect you would anyway, but ..."

A blink. "You mean, in your absence?"

"No no" And he chuffs in surprise "I .. I'll be here. I just... they'll want to talk to anyone but each other, or me I worry. They don't wannt to hurt each other, me neither. they might find it easier to risk offennding or being judged by someone outside the triangle. That's.. you, I think"

She relaxes visibly. "Okay, got it. I thought you were going to do some kind of crazy pre-emptive strike and leave them before they could leave you! But no, of course, I'll be here for them. I mean, Piper's the other half of Goldfinch, and Siv's...I mean, she's Siv. Of course I'll be here for both of them."

"There are people who do that?" his eyes widen then blinks "It's official. I have no proper sense of melodrama"

"Good. It wouldn't be a good look for you."

"You know, it might come down to having to trick them into talking to each other. I hope not, because that can get kind of risky, but just keep it in mind as a possibility, okay?"

"I will.. " Foot steps "Sounds like ohers are coming in, they'll want to talk to you. I'll leave you be for now. I appreciate you hearin my concerns"

"Jonas, you're always welcome, you know. I mean, if you want to talk more, don't hesitate, okay?"

A nod grunt ("Thanks")

Then she turns to see what other news is coming her way.

and someone calls out "Sylvi? I ggot the best news about Cheerleading..."
