Sylvi gives the front entrance of Goldfinch Studios a fond grin. "Hey, you," she murmurs, and then she opens the door and goes in.

The front window, previously broken and boarded up appears to have been repaired! However, it is still cardboarded and papered over.

She can feel the bale roar

well, it calls to her.. not big enough to roar from here

"Oh..." a little catch of breath at that tug from the balefire. "Wow." She smiles, then calls out, "Lucy! I'm home!"

"Sylvi? SYLVI! Wait, wait, I'm coming!" Piper peers out of an open 2nd floor window, and for a moment Sylvi might think she's about to jump! But no, she races through the halls (perhaps nearly upending poor Jimmy or someone else) and makes her way to the front door.

"Did you help Nadeen with her makeup problem?"

She laughs, seeing Piper at the window, and then responds wide-eyed to her question. "OMG, Piper, I have so much to tell you. It was CRAZY."

"How's it here?" she says as they go inside.

"Wait.. can I show you something? Before we go in?"

"I know, I'm sorry, you have a lot of news I'm sure, but... I really, really wanted you to be the first to see this."

"Um...sure?" The balefire's call is tempting, but this seems important. "What is it?"

"Close your eyes. I promise it's not a trick. Rikki's not even here today." At least, Piper hasn't seen her, and hopes she's telling the truth.

Sylvi grins. "Ohhhkayyyy...." She closes her eyes and allows Piper to lead her wherever they're going.

She is led just a couple steps back, back onto the sidewalk in front of the building. "Just wait.... one sec... here... unf..."

The sound of paper tearing and tape stripped away.

"Um...was that noise supposed to happen?"

"yes, just... I have to reach... this last bit... there! Okay, you can look."

Sylvi opens her eyes with a sense of caution....

The front window is uncovered, and shows a new design custom made, worked into the glass! Or rather, TWO designs.

One that shows to Mortal Eyes - an art deco style logo, for Goldfinch Studios.

Yet enchanted eyes see more, don't they always?

And the other? To fae eyes only.... A heraldric design, new to Sylvi, and yet familiar! The base design harkens back to the trees and river of the Rivervale crest, but with more, something born of, but new.

And the bird.. looks at her, the glass reflects, and moves slightly...

Her jaw drops. I have spent the better part of the last 24 hours amazed, she thinks.

and sings...!

It's voice is both birdsong and crystal chimes

"Oh!" She covers her mouth with both hands as she hears the music.

Piper hovers a few steps back, her expression worried and hopeful. What if she HATES it??

"Oh...Piper..."

"It's wonderful!" She's even a little teary!

"I should have asked, I should have shown you first, I know... I'm sor-"

"Oh!" She swallows, and beams. "So... you like it? Dagmar and Tove helped..."

It seems to reflect the heart of the hold.. a song announcing that it is here, it will not be silenced , and oh those here will spread their wings with out shame

"I just...I can't even....Come here," she says and pulls the satyr into an impulsive hug!

She hugs back! "Bertrand said he can make it sing as a doorbell that rings inside, or.. something about maybe being tied to an earring, if you wanted to know when people were here? I don't remember, he said A LOT of things..."

"I thought it looked like his work!" she says as she lets go and looks at the window again. "Bertrand's brilliant that way. This is...it's just amazing. You're brilliant, Piper."

"I can't even...what do we owe him for this?" She doesn't sound upset -- just appreciating the value of the work.

"It's bought and paid for." She nods, firmly.

"Now come inside, you have to see the amazing work that's been done so far..."

She blinks. "What did you do?! I mean...How?" She lets herself be led by the hand into the studio.

"Let's just say that the photo shoot of you will be very tasteful" Eden chimes. The snake pooka inside and smiling

"Eden, shoosh. Don't worry Sylvi, it's all on the up-and-up. I helped him with a project that he needed a musician for."

"Shooshing" Eden beams

Sylvi rolls her eyes, but smiles at Eden. "Okay, okay...if it's a barter thing? That's excellent."

She takes a look around at the work that's been done. "Whoa...."

Several studios in various stages of completion. This one clearly meant for dance, this one for music recording - these rooms could be for meeting or tutoring, and THIS one just has a giant pile of blankets and some clothes strewn... "Oops, sorry. I had Jonas over." She closes that door with a snap!

She laughs at that last one. "Hey, whatever keeps the creativity flowing!" She stares in amazement at each room in turn. "I just can't get over how much you got done! Oh...um...we got gifted this, from Marigold by way of Connor." Yes, there's that big picnic basket that Sylvi's been carrying.

"Is that... food?!" Her eyes widen. There ARE an awful lot of fast food wrappers in the trash...

"It is, indeed, food." She carries it into the coffee room and puts it on a counter. "And I'm already stuffed, so everybody dig in."

Piper does! And between bites, fills her in. One dreamer matched with Etsy for Electric viola training... finding Pinja's hidden talent behind her family's hammers, the dancer who can now be inspired by Lyron rather than risking herself on a pole and stage.

Eden asks "Should I keep this all to myself?"
