"Anything else, boss?"

"You tell me." Jess prompts "You ran the patrol. And we have a couple hours, right? You're on babysitting duty?"

"For now yeah" he says "Well the intell I told you about, what we got on the ravager. We're also stretching out patrols, got the sluagh and boggans on the look out for more ravaging victims. It might cost you some resources, but Diego says we can make it work. "

"Good, good to know. And hopefully Diego can start a relationship with the dreamer, help him heal."

"Huh" The redcap scratches his chin "Lot of work for one son of Adam, boss"

"What do you mean?" puzzled.

"Just... " The redcap says "The fellow wasn't much of a dreamer or we'd have found him before this. He gets ravaged, that sucks, but you want him healed up and tended to with all the the other things going on?"

"I am not saying you're wrong" Phobos says "I just wonder.. WHY?"

Jess shrugs. " 'Not much of a Dreamer' is still a Dreamer. If we can help him, we should."

"Huh" he says "Okay. " He doesn't seem to disaapprove as just not completely get it "I thought maybe it was a way of marking our territory"

"If I need to mark my territory, it's not mine." she shrugs "This is just looking after our resources."

"mmph okay. Look if you want to patrol again, we can. If you want to hang by the fire. We can. We can even watch a movie either here or at a theatre. It's good, boss."

"Well, I should probably check up on the paperwork but... that'd make you crazy, I think. Let's go back on patrol. When you're done."

"Sure" He says.

When he's done he rises up "Let's hit the poor parts of town. I'm hoping for a fight"

"Ok." and together they head out.

They do get eyed by some local mortals who aren't above mugging easy prey, but even without knowing the true nature of the kithain, they seem to decide the tall blonde woman and the rough looking Tijuana born guy aren't to be fucked with.
