"Wait" he stops before she answers, "What was that? Glamour, over there" he gestures to a tiny shop. She knows it, and it's a mortal shop, so glamour being there seems odd.

Jess doesn't have a chance to explain her comment about Samhain. Her navy-blue eyes narrow. "Ok. Careful. It's a trap. Let's go."

He moves along, muttering "I feel a bit rusty after my years of just talking and fetching but let's" He puts his hand to his own weapon, a knife and they head on

As they move in, Jessica enters the shop as quietly as she can only to have one of those bells at the door ring

Damn it. She enters anyway and sees the shop keeper, a mortal she's only seen as a neighbor at best, a distant one. He is staggered, looking near moved to tears...

A figure is slipping out a window, indeed, all but a foot.

More alarming is the glamour lingering... her father is a Liam. She knows the unnaturally ripped glamour of Ravaging. This man was just ravaged, and her ravager is making a get away!

"Help him." an order, a gesture, and Jess herself starts away to ..... she STOPS.

And growls, her eyes midnight black.

A deep breath, in.... out.... "Hello." she tries to engage with the mortal, a smile (of sorts).

OOC What kind of shop is it?

Diego looks confused...

OOC Jess started to have Diego help the mortal while she went after... whoever.... but STOPPED and changed tactics. She stayed, Diego wasn't told to do different, and she engaged with the mortal.

the store sells t shirts, hats, and , for some reason, candy.

"I'm... hola?" The mortal sobs "Pardon. I am... I don't know why I'm crying. That man he said such horrid things"

"Lo lamento. Por favor, si puedo, ¿te ayudaré?"

Diego sees Jessica suddenly flip tactics and either assumes that means he's to go after the ravager, or at least is free too. He says "Excuse me, por favor" And leaps thorugh the window

"DIEGO, NO!"

On the other side he calls back "We're just letting them get away?" Incredulous

"No importa. Soy un fracasado. Un perdedor. Estaba destinado a algo más que esto. Perdón, debería cerrar la tienda." The ravaged man says (Translation " It doesn't matter. I am a failure. A loser. I was meant for more than this. Pardon, I Should close the shop.")

"TO ME."

The shop keeper looks baffled at all this, but the bafflement doesn't last, his despair stronger than curioisity now after the ravaging

"I can CATCH him I think" Diego says "But not if you keep me hear. Right to Dream?" A reminder

With a hiss, and a curse, Diego returns in "Pardon sir" Angry himself, but apparently he caught on

"Please, I'm closing... there's no point" The Vendor says in Spanish

Diego takes a breath "Senior, whatever was said to you, you cannot let it sink into your soul"
