Phobos BELLOWS "LADY CAPTAIN SIV WAVEBORNE ap Fiona! From Rivervale! Want me to throw her out before causes trouble?"

Jess eventually enters "No, Phobos, thank you. Hi Siv."

"Hey, sis." Siv says "Sorry I didn't bring the babies, but they're being oggled by Piper's moms. Is this a bad time?"

"It's a long trip to make with babies. Now is fine. Come in and have something to drink?"

She leads the way.

Siv follows, "Cup of coffee wouldn't do me harm" She admits, "Mom and Da are about to get a lot of lumber transported by yours truly in the next few days. Dagmar plans to go with me to the visit if she can. I was wondering if you wanted to hitch a ride then too? I know you're busy but, well, Alaska isn't an easy jump for most and I can cheat with my ship"

"I appreciate the offer, but I can't spare the manpower, even my own."

"That bad eh?" She asks not judging, just curious "You need some help around here? I can even find someoen who is NOT me"

"Thanks for the offer; if something comes up, I'll let you know. Right now, the best I can think of is if you were to work with Baron Tidemarch to patrol the sea borders, but that would put you in a war zone and you have a family to think of. You'd be away for ... I don't even know how long. You have other things going on, just as important."

"I do" She admits "But my ship means I can visit home pretty damned quick. THAT said," She smiles "I have made contacts with otyher sailing kithain. Would you like me to get you the contact info for a ship of trolls?"

"I do travel the world after all, maybe they're in this side of the pacific?" She takes the coffee offered and takes a sip "Okay. You can't come with me. Fair, you've got a county to run, but is there anything you'd like me to add to the cargo or maybe I could carry a note on your behalf to them?"

Jess considers a moment. "Sure. I'll write a note before you go. Thank you."

"You're welcome. I confess, I miss mum and da terribly, not that I'll make a fuss, not fair to them. But we can show them we still think of them in small non guilt inducing ways" She sips her coffee, "This is... good. I mean, really a good batch"

"Thank you. There were some chimera, a quest, suchlike. Um, yes. We have good coffee now. I mean, we did before and we do again.

"It tastes like Jojos" She remarks

"Seems like a similar chimera." Jess agrees.

"Oh that's wonderful" Siv is indeed delighted, "Now that's a quest reward!! And forgive me, didn't mean to insult your coffee before just... this is more touch of home"

"No, I get it."

"So, while you write the note, want me to ramble about Rivervale going on, or you want to talk about your fine county? I'm mouth or ears as needed" Siv seems a bit tired but also more reserved than she often was. Maybe motherhood has taught her some maturity

"Appreciate that, but I'll take a few minutes by myself to write. What's your schedule?"

"I can hang around up to an hour easy if you like, the grandmas might kidnap the twins if I wait longer than that"

Jess nods. "Ok, tell you what. I'll go write a note and come back, you can relax, and when I get back we'll chat till you need to go. Want something to eat?"

"Um sure?" She says "If it's no trouble?"

"Not at all. Back in a few." Jess passes the kitchen on her way to write a note and asks the ladies to get Siv something to eat. Then she goes to write."

The ladies are as ever, on it!

And soon, Jessica is writing her note

She keeps an eye on the time, but doesn't rush; it's a thoughtful note. And she signs and seals it, and heads back to Siv.

Siv is looking a bit stunned at the amount on her plate, but clearly enjoying it "I don't know how they made lamb so quickly but it is delicious. Care to join me?" She says

"No, thanks. I ate." She hands the sealed envelope over and takes a seat.

"You enjoy, though."

She takes the envelope and puts it away carefully so it won't get a spill on it in case of a mess, then Siv dines "I'll be honest with ye, I have a big mouth but no way can I finish all this. Think the ladies would be offended if I took a to go box ?"
