And finds the boys outside her door, both dressed rather dapper

Jessica, when she opens the door, is also dressed somewhat formally but without sign of rank and of course, without House.

By now, with gifts in hand, Jessica is prepared. As are some guards to escort her though they'll be outside the actual meeting.

Adler seems to approve of her outfit, "She will like that I think, Miss Jessica. Proper, but not trying to throw rank. Older Sluagh have their own hierarchy"

She nods gravely. "I am aware."

"This way, it could be fun" Ahpuch grins, and they lead her on. Of course she could out pace them but that defeats the purpose.

Indeed it does, so she paces behind them.

The two boys move quiet as cat feet, leading her out into the wee hours. She knows the streets well after these years, but the route taken is a winding one.

She manages not to lose her way, and might be able to find her way back

Despite a dovetailing path that zigs more than once.

They go behind an old wreck of a house, and for a moment she thinks they might enter it, but rather they go up to a wall behind it "This way"

OOC They have some muscle with them too, yes? That was the plan.

OOC: They do!

BIC: The escorts grumble a bit as they have to climb the wall but they do, as does Jessica, and they drop down into a lower street... with a small house that was once bright yellow, but now looks like a tooth in need of a brushing

Fitting. She thinks.

The boys knock gently, in a pattern from some old creepy song.

And the door swings open, a rush of cold wind blows out

Jess, being a troll, finds it refreshing in the Mexican warmth.

Indeed, this is no banalty, but true brisk wind akin to what she might feel much further north

"The others must stay here," Ahpuch reminds

The Escorts nod, and ...take positions around the building.

Adler motions her to follow him

Jess nods to the Escorts, in thanks, and follows.

The lights are dim, but not unpleasant, it almost feels like an invisible forest of evergreen has some how cast shade. Jessica hears a voice whispering a welcome. Adler whispers back "Senora Dolorhuesos? It is Adler, and Ahpuch, and we bring Miss Jessica. May she approach? She left her guards outside."

And a creeky voice calls out in Spanish "Si, let the young lady approach. My table awaits."

And so she's lead further on, and Senora Dolorhuesos is seen at a table that is NOT meant for a troll, and yet, there is a large cozy chair that has been dragged here somehow to the opposing side. The Senora looks like a body recently dead from exposure to frost and flood in parts, puffy at the cheeks, webbed at the finger tips, but stretched thin and pale in others. She wears a very old dress, the sort probably worn by Spanish ladies of the 18th century

Jessica keeps a stoic mein; after all, she counts some sluagh as friends. Some, not so much. She offers a respectful bow when she comes to a stop.

"So..." the voice is a scratchy rasp, "Ahpuch tells me you allow him to have.. fun. Adler says you are a lady. It is hard to get approval from both such different boys. Please, join me"

She motions to the large chair

"Thank you, both for the invitation and for the hospitality and kind words. May I present a token of my esteem?"

The old woman inclines her head, there are soft popping sounds as she does so, as if her neckbones might just break any second, but it is clearly meant as a yes.

Jessica offers the package of tea (or movies, or both?) with both hands.

She takes them both, and looks.. pleasantly surprised
