A nod "Should we prepare some tea in a private room just in case? We can have coffee while we do" she says

"Do you think we'll get a response that fast?"

"Probably not, I just dislike feeling helpless " She admits begrudgingly

"Yeah." Jess agrees; obviously. She's a troll; no one likes feeling helpless but....

"Fine,. so we plot and plan a bit on other matters. Want the minutes to the last town council? The Pit hosted that one... it got lively"

"Yes, thank you."

"Let's see," She pulls out a small black book, "There's some Yule suggestions, excellent ones really, about letting the childlings do a 'make your own reindeer' event... be it drawing, clay models, or whatever the nocker kids will do."

"I'd caution that no one is to be a reindeer against their will, or Enchanted?" a suggestion, a conversation.

"Good point" She makes a note on that part of the paper... "Let's see. Oh, there are some disputes over dreamers, but they settled that by council hearing" A brow lift "It smells too much democracy to me, but both sides accepted it"

"Good." evenly.

"Insurrectionist" She mutters good naturedly, and goes on "There was talk of... building a statue of you." She says

"Hard pass. No. Absolutely not."

"I actually already nixed it" she says "Had some of my agents and those who owed me favors vote against it and brought up you'd hate it"

She adds "Hope you don't mind me stepping in for you. They mean well, but all it would do would be make you feel self consious"

"I don't mind. Thanks."

"You're welcome" a sip "And here's one you might like, a wellness check volunteer force for elderly grumps, kinain, and dreamers"

She nods. "I do like that.... tell me more?"

"Sure, a boggan named Petro Reyes suggested it... worried about an old lady across the street. But others expanded on it..." And she relates the unfolding of just who took charge on that idea
