"Holger?" Dame Bevera says "Is something wrong?"

"I wanted the opinions of Miss Jessica is all. It ... I wanted to..." Holger looks at Jessica "I was hoping for ideas on what fit me best from people who I consider a friend? Like you?"

"Um... well, Holger.... First thing I thought of was a dog, of course. But heraldry has rules and an order and I wouldn't know where to start. I don't want to offer an idea and be wrong and then you're getting teased or the College of Heralds says No to a design you have your heart set on."

"That is okay" He assures, "I would still like your ideas because then I would have a start on how to .. well, judgemyself. I am not always sure what others see when they see me?"

Bevera nods "No reason we can't get ideas THEN run them by the rules, your Excellency and Sir. "

"And in some heraldry, Dogs are called Talbots sometimes, or just Hounds " She adds "They often represent loyalty, or determination"

"Holger has that, in spades. What does Ellie say about your interest, Holger?"

"I have not asked her yet. " he admits "She is busy hearing the complaints of local boggan childlings. There was a stolen reciepe accusation. MOST Serious with boggans. Even childlings"

Bevera arches a brow. Perhaps as a Gwydion sidhe, she was unaware this was a grim matter for boggans.

Jess just nods gravely. "That is important, yes." agreeing "It is a good trait for a knight to research and explore ideas before taking a problem to their Lady. Always come with a solution to whatever challenge you're bringing."

Holger looks proud of Ellie, "Si, the little Contessa always tries for justice and fairness. My own heraldry can wait while she must judge. A dog would not be bad. What other animal would be possible you think? I should have, how you say, a back up"

"Mmm...." Jess falls to thinking.

Holger , being a troll, waits. He knows what all trolls know. REALLY good thinking takes time

"Maybe something from Ellie's Heraldry?"

"A star perhaps?" He says "Not the Beaumayn one, but... si, that might be nice"

"Gracious, Miss Jessica" He perks up "Maybe a Dog under starlight"

"Sirius."

"Si, very serious" He nods

"No, um..... S-i-r-i-u-s." she says slowly in Spanish "It's the name of the Dog Star."

"OH" the boy says surprised, "Dogs have their own star?"

"Maybe?"

"This is very good to know" he says, pleased "I shall have to ask others but It MEANS much that you think that would suit me"

"I appreciate that, Holger. Thank you."

Holger gives her a hug , warm and full of affection, then steps back, and gives a troll salute "I will leave you to your duties now. "

She returns the hug and the salute in kind. "And I, yours."

And he nods, then looks at Dame Bevera "May I come to you for more heraldry tips after I ask my friends for advice an what they see in me?"

"I am at your disposal" She assures

He bows a bit, then goes down the hall. Bevera watches him go, "I truly wish Summerstryke had not spoiled his view of Gwydions. He'd be an amazing Falcon"

"He will be amazing no matter what."

"This is true" She admits "Now, your excellency. I .. well, Neema and I had an idea. As your troubadours. But we need your permission to set it in motion. May we begin an opn clas room for childlings of all station to learn music?"

"Yes!"

"Excellent. She's better with the young than I, but we both have much time and honor demands we do not shirk duty. This will be a worthy one" She says

"I love the idea."

"Well, feel free to drop by and listen in practice if you wish? It would inspire the children, and might cheer you. Though" She makes a face "It will be a while before their voices gain talent I fear"

A small smile "Talent is one thing... enthusiasm is another. Both are good."

A pleased nod and bow "Then I shall go tell neema we are approved. With your leave?"

"Um, yes. Sure? Thank you."

"You're welcome, your excellency" And the Gwydion is off.

And so is Jess.
