Jess does, indeed, give herself time to consider the question. "I won't try and act as if I'm entirely happy about the situation. I don't want to crush him, but I really am not ok with what's happened. I guess the biggest question is about this note he says he left."

"Which note?" She asks

"Or is that the point" A frown "mmm"

"Holger doesn't lie as a rule. If he says he left a note, I am sure he did, but maybe it got lost?"

"He says he left a note stating what he was going off to do. I don't know what, if any, difference it would have made in terms of my actions, and he should have -talked- to someone about his plans, but I do want to know where the note is and what it says."

She nods then ponders "he left here assuming he'd be with your parents. Your parents, not knowing he was coming, went to rivervale . So, he may have left a note at Rivervale . I'll go there and find out" She offers "Been awhile since I let my eiluned curiousity shine"

Jess blinks. "I can just call." she offers.

"Amiga, you are my friend, but you can be a real spoilsport to my Eiluned enjoyments. I have a lot of questions about Rivervale and its denizens"

"I'm kind of protective of the place." Jess points out.

"I know, but do you really think, even at my most nosey, I would ever mean harm to a place so precious to you?"

"No, not at all." seriously.

"Thank you" She says

"But even if there's a note left at Rivervale, he went there and then questing instead of telling us, here, what he planned to do. It appears even more deceptive."

"Deceptive isn't in the boy's nature. Not saying you're wrong that he messed up, he did. But however it appears, I don't think it is his intent. Now, he may need it explained to him that it appears deceptive. I bet he'd feel bad about that "

She nods. "I want to speak plainly with him, but I think I am still too angry."

"Oh, jessica. You didn't knight him as a way of making him Ellie's problem, did you?" Cautious "Please tell me I'm wrong on that"

She shakes her head slowly. "No. Although that may end up being the case, despite my intentions."

"Well, he scared you, of COURSE you're angry. He was foolish and a bit insensitive and he should know better. Of course you're angry."

"I may be angry but I don't have to act on it; I hope I have not."

"Your angry is a lot more controlled than most people's irked." She assures, "How can I help?"

A shrug. "I'm not sure you can. I need to work though what I'm feeling and figure out how to approach Holger."

She nods "Okay. in the mean time, just know you're not alone"

A soft, mirthless chuckle. "I appreciate the thought."

"Useless as it maybe" SHe nods then a beat "Anger or no anger, Holger will be a fine knight. I wonder if he'd like to consider House Eiluned?" But she elbows gently

The attempt at levity, appreciated, doesn't really land.

"And this is why sidhe don't do comedy" She admits

"Coffee and Silence then?" She offers instead

"I need to think." Jess excuses her mood. "Sorry."

"nothing to apologize for." She says, and refills the coffe, "Want to think in quiet alone, or want to think in quiet with a friend?"

"Do you mind staying? Just... quietly? I can't promise I'll have anything to share but I have always valued your insight and advice when I need it."

"I don't mind at all." And she takes her own mug of coffee, and sits with her friend and liege for awhile. In supportive silence.

Ariel has already had her turn fussing at Holger, she got really emotional about it.

Now she is calming herself by sneaking in the kitchen and, in a fit of rebellion against boggan territorial nature, made herself a snack ! a hot dog cut up into coins and a kraft single

She glances over at the walls, the fourth one always seems to be watching "Don't you judge me" Chomp

Then she makes more for Ellie, Salma and the others

and trots off.
