Jess might not take it easy, but she does go to get a drink of water and think.

Her hold has other things going, the regular duties and needs. But she knows her way to work with those, even while a major hunt is going on

"Everything okay, boss?" Sir Jack ap Liam inquires

"Not exactly." She tells him about Holger.

The Liam ponders "He's a tough kid, but that IS concerning. Sorry, Countess. My expertise is the streets, not the Dreaming. Though, if you want, I can check on his dreamers and make sure theyre not being taken advantage of while he is gone?"

She nods. "That would be kind of you; I'm sure he'd be distressed if they came to harm."

"I'll add it to my patrols. Speaking of which, all was going smoothly as expected. Some son of adam streetgangs beating their chests at each other ..stupid kids" A sigh, frustration with what the youth of the city consider their only way to live in part

"Education, jobs, security...." she sighs as well.

He nods "This city has a lot of good people, but it is hard to keep up what's best in you when there's so much want and those who prey on those in need. I'm going to see what I can do to keep the gangs distracted from killing each other"

"Give them a common enemy?"

"It's an idea" he admits "But who is a good target?"

"Ignorance, unemployment, insecurity... But I know it's not that easy."

"mm" A smile "I'll work on it. "

"I hope we all will, as best we can."

"Have you eaten recently?" Jack asks

"Um.... yes? I think so. Pretty sure."

"Uh huh" A bit dubious "You realize if you haven't, our two kitchen angels will hunt you down and lecture then stuff you?" He says "I know they've done it to me"

"Um. I mean... I'm not really hungry."

"Ah" A nod "Good lucck with that"

She sighs. "They'll fuss."

"Oh yes, that's why I suggested you go in and get the food before they could, but.. good luck. I'll go check on those dreamers" A smile, and he leaves her to decide for herself to eat ,or wait to be hunted down
