"Hi, everyone." Jess greets them informally, as is her wont.

"It went well?"

"It did." she nods.

"How is your mom and da and Siv?" Ariel wants to know "Did you see Connor?"

OOC Did she?

"Everyone's good." Jess updates them "And yes, I saw Connor. He said to say hi."

"He better have" Ariel hurumphs

"Things ok here?" of course, they would have called.... but she asks anyway.

Fawn fields that one "One prisoner tried to escape, but failed"

A frown. "Which one? What happened?"

"A jaguar skined one...faked an illness, we moved to check on him... and well? He made a run for it, bit of a scuffle. But Thane commander Coy grabbed him and threw him down again... "

"Coy's ok?"

"And the prisoner?"

"Coy's fine. DeBukes can scrap" Fawn admits

"We sure can" Ariel chimes

"Oh, no doubt." She sounds sure of it "Is the prisoner ok?"

"Busted lip but otherwise tended"

She nods. "I'm ok with that. Any more of them willing to take the Oath? And do we have a draft of it?"

"Constance has almost got it tinkered out completely. " Fawn says

"Excellent. I'll drop my bag in my room and the basket in the kitchen and go see her."

"Okay ... you may want to wait on that. Coy is being fussed over by Constance"

"I thought you said he was ok."

A chuckle "Young lady, he IS Okay now, but he was in danger. Constance has to give him a scolding and I suspect a reminder what good things remain in this worked stays intact"

"They're snogging" Ariel asserts

She sighs. "Right. Ok. Bag and basket, at least."

So she goes to take care of that.

Maria is in the kitchen and sees the basket "Ah, Jessica, you're back! From the Hearth?"

"Yes." she sets the big basket down "With her thanks for you gifts, and compliments."

"OH, how kind of her, she is lovely" She opens and looks it over "Bueno. Some of the Norte things we know you miss!"

"Yeah." Jess says fondly "You ladies have what you need?"

"Diego is getting us some practical things, not just wine" Wryly

"It's good that he has a hobby." she points out.

"Mmmph. He loves the grape too much am thinking. but as you say"

Diego says from the door way "Do I hear the sound o judgment again, Maria?"

'SI. " She says to Diego

Diego sniffs "Puritian," Then looks to Jessica with a smile "Welcome back"

"Thank you. Other than the scuffle with the prisoner, anything I need to know?"

"Oh that. " Diego considers then sighs "Yes, I suppose you might want to know there was a gang fight... no changelings, but 4 mortals died. Barely made the news"

She nods gravely. "Were any of the mortals ours?"

"No Dreamers, No kinain" he says "Which is ...well, forgive me for saying, fortunate. It did however damage the shop of a nocker. He's asking for help with repairs"

"Where did the fight happen? Here in Fenix or elsewhere in the County?"

"About 4 blocks from here" He says shaking his head

"Ok, then yes, that's on us. What can we do for him?"

"HE'd like the loan of a few of our crafters and repairmen here. We can spare a few. I was going to round up volunteers. Money is another problem for supplies but Coy says the DeBukes have some spare lumber they can bring by trod if we need, not a lot but enough to help"

"Contact Skyhook , see if they can help one of their own?"

"I'll inquire"

"Thanks."

"THough I do wonder if we should set the predent that all nockers belong to Skyhook"

"They don't. if anything Skyhook belongs to them. But they -are- the majority kith there, and I want to know if they'd like to help a kithmate out."
