OOC SHE'S UP!!!

She's up, and she hears Gerd "You what? Oh Siv, that sounds like theft but.... you know what? I'll take it"

"Thought you might. Look Gerd, they put you in a bind and this isn't the first time... that lodge is being used to lure others into bad choices" Siv's voice

Jess, bleary from too-much-and-not-enough-nap, tumbles out of bed and stumbles to the door to pull it open and stare outside it. Let's see what registers for her.

There's Gerd, mop in hand, talking to Siv

"You're mopping." she observes.

"Oh yes," Gerd answers "Watch your step, floor's a bit wet."

"Hey, Sis" Siv says

"Why're you mopping?"

"The floor was a bit messy" Gerd answers matter of factly

"Why?"Jess blinks, clears her throat, and rubs her face.

"I can only guess from use" Gerd says with almost Frank like simplicity "Shoes track in dirt sometimes"

Siv shakes her head "Gerd, she means 'why are YOU mopping' they have people for that"

"Oh, well, just being useful. " Gerd shrugs

Siv looks at Jessica "There you go. She's been infected by Rivervale work ethic. One shudders"

"Not me."

"Ok, well... ok. Fine. Siv, what brings you? Are mom and dad ok?" more systems are coming on line.

"Want me to get you some coffee?" Gerd offers

"They're fine. Da is hard to find lately, but mom knows where to dig him up"

"No, thanks Gerd; I can get my own if I want any." she clears her throat again "Ok. So... social visit?"

"Actually" Siv says "I came to talk to Gerd. But happy to chat with you , sis. I get the feeling I missed something?"

"Attack on Duff, enemy nunnehi. I helped a little. Jessica was a powerhouse!" Gerd informs

Siv blinks "Wow." A look to her sister

A shrug, another eye rub. "I took a nap." she explains.

"Oh, sorry to wake you" Gerd winces

"No, it's ok. I need to get up anyway. Hang on." Jess steps back inside but leaves the door open to her old-home girls

Siv speaks "sounds like quite the donnybrook"

"A what?" from the bathroom ensuite.

"Quite the FIght!"

Running water. "I guess. It went our way so...."

Siv calls out "Was anyone on your side badly hurt?"

"Duff. He's ok now."

"Duff's a hard man to keep down" Siv observes

"He does well for himself." cloth-rustling sounds.

"Shame you two didn't work out" Siv sighs

Gerd gives Siv a heaad shake at that.

Siv sighs "But hey, your life is your life" Trying to course correct

Jess emerges, clean and dressed.

"Yes. It is."

Siv is mopping now, having taken over for Gerd

"I came to see Gerd" Siv repeats, figuring her sister just missed it the first time

Siv ponders "Figure Gerd's caught you up on the news at Rivervale. " Then a look to Gerd "you're staying here tonight? Rivervale fire will get jealous"
