"He lives, last I checked" The seer says "Would you like to see him yourself?"

She clearly would but.... "After this meeting, if you are willing."

A deep breath "Ok... politically?"

"The Baron at one time was unchallenged, the strongest most secure of the lords in the land or so it felt" The Steward says "But his reptuation has been ..damaged of late"

Uncomfortable looks all around.

The Bard says "He lost some respect having been forced to kneel to your will more than once, your excellency. "

"it was his hope that marrying me would give him more credence among other nobles" His betrothed nods

"I'm sure it will."

"We will see. But, what the Bard hints at is there will be more than a few attempts to remove him from power by law and politics while he sleeps" She says
