Maria comes up to her "How hungry are you, Jessica? "

"Um. I've eaten, thank you.:

"Good. That redcap who came close, he was no trouble?"

A half smile. "That is Peacemaker Dirk of Rivervale. And no, no trouble."

"Good. That box was not displeasing then?"

"No. Just some things from Rivervale."

"Ah, bueno" She smiles

"Si."

"In that case, I will leave you be, but dont forget, the big dinner is later for tonight"

"Si, Maria, Gracias."

And off Maria goes

Jess sips again and watches the party.

Ariel comes up to her "Jessica, Jessica, guess what..." A tug at the sleeve

"What's that, Ariel?" with a small smile.

"The DeBuke farm sent gifts" proudly "my brother, Sir Charles is here and brought them in. Salma got books..." then apologeticly "She's kind of vanished under a table with them already. Ellie got a plushie horse... like max in rapunzel. And i got a new shirt"

Jess checks; is the shirt Ariel is wearing new?

It is! She must have changed!

"Is this your new shirt?" Jess takes it in.

It's a multi colored T shirt that says 'Dream Big, or Go home!'

Jess chuckles. "I like it. Very nice."

"THANK you" All smiles

"Can you take me to your brother? I'd like to say hello and thank you."

"He's this way" She pulls her along

well, as much as childling satyress can pull a wilder troll

Sir Charles wears Fiona colors. the troll seems to leave it at that. no silver lion

Jess goes willingly, so it works out. She nods. "Hello, Sir Charles. Welcome to Renaissance."

"Greetings, and please, if you prefer to be called Jessica, then you should just call me Charles' he says "unless you prefer me to call you your excellency?"

"Jessica is fine, thank you." she agrees.

"Thank you so much for taking care of Ariel," Charles says "My little sister loves it here. "

"We love her; she's a joy to have and this place would be the poorer for her absence."

Ariel puffs up "See, told you. You should totally move down here full time, Charles. Tell him, Miss Jessica"

Charles looks bemused at his little sister

OOC Back. The Feast was good and everyone seems to have enjoyed.

Jess actually considers it. "Are you looking for a different role, Sir?"

"I..." he is surprised "Not full time, no. I've a lady in Iowa who I am loathe to be gone from for long"

Ariel says "Maybe she'd move down here?"

"Unlikely, sis" He says gently

Jess nods, accepting. "I understand. You've met Sir Buce, of course?"

"I have, a fine knight" He nods

Ariel looks bummed her brother isn't moving down here because of some GIRL

"Remember, Ariel, you can visit the farm anytime you like. Just let me, or Dame Ash, know."

"Well, my friends are HERE" She says

"And we're glad to have you." Jess assures her "Are you enjoying the party?"

"I love it" Ariel says "We got to slay Tonto in the great hunt" Then in a side whisper "We didn't really slay him, we just hit him with padding and took his candy"

Charles' jaw twitches in the manner of amused trolls without beards

"It was a mighty battle." Jess agrees.
