"Some members of the Unseelie Houses were identified and even introduced." Jess agrees.

"mmm I wonder what changed" He ponders

She sighs. "I suppose I should have demanded Tidemarch send his people."

"No, you did the right thing in letting him know you were open to it, but not demanding. Varich are prickly enough, 'demand' would make his compliance be less helpful. At least, that would be my take"

"The Nunnehi bleedwaters stir the Mer up. This could work to our advantage in getting the Mer to open up a bit"

Jess nods slowly. "Is that a goal for you, Your Grace?"

"It's a goal for any Sidhe noble" he admits "They are the only kith more arrogant than we" a smile "And have... old magics and more importantly? Lost lore"

Jessica thinks.

"Baron Tidemarch... he -should- be the best person to lead this effort."

"I dislike relying on him, but yes, most likely"

"I honestly cannot tell you who he'd react to better; myself or Your Grace."

"I shall try. I am a sidhe, even if a lowly liam" wry "And a duke. Do you wish to join me when I approach him or leave it to me and I will let you know the results?

She thinks; give the Kings credit, most of them consider their words and actions carefully. "I will go with you if you allow, Your Grace."

A smile "Why not now? I bet he loves surprises" A boyish mischief

"Now?" nonplussed (again) but she nods "As you like, Your Grace, of course."

"Excellent. We're already finely dressed"
