Siv makes a bit of small talk, but clearly knows about Maria's family, and then it's time for the meal and they're lead to it. Looks like they really spread the table

Siv sniffs 'ooo some local fish dishes. They do humor my nautical side"

Usually Jess eats with the rest of the Freehold; perhaps it's just the sisters now, though.

It appears not to be. Rather Nancy, Diego, Constance and Coy (Who are given seats together), Dame Ash, and Fawn are among folks. Tito and Symond went out

Siv is lively and engaging, having cleaned her act up in more than one way. She talks to nancy but Nancy seems almost afraid to respond too much

Fawn brings up some more news "We've begun getting copies on basic primers for the indigienous languages in the study, thanks to constance"

"Happy to serve" Constance says

"That's fantastic news. The local languages are... um, a work in progress for me I'm afraid."

"But your spanish is flawless now" Maria insists

"I'm good with Spanish now." she agrees "But I think a grounding in the local stuff is going to help with the Nunnehi."

"It will" Fawn nods, "If Otem were here I'm sure he'd appreciate your efforts openly"

Siv says "You know, i've heard of treasures that allow one to learn a language with a just a sip from them or the like."

"That would be handy."

"Huh, something to quest for maybe" Siv consideres

"I'll ask around; we might have some folks looking for a quest goal."

"There's always someone" Ash observes

"We'll ask around."

"I'll make a note of it" Constance says, then looks apologetically at her husband . He gives her hand a squeeze and a smile, and she smiles back, and heads off to make a note

Siv watches her go, "She is really dedicated"

"We're lucky to have her." Jess agrees.

Coy nods proudly

"Congrulationes to you, Coy and to her too. If you would like a trip sometime for a romantic get away, call me. Narwhal can get me almost anywhere there is water"

"We can make that happen, unless you two already had plans?"

"I.. well, a visit to the farm is a must but more respect for my family wise. I would be flattered to take you both up on smething special, but i best talk it over with Constance later. Would not be fair for me to just pick a place without her input"

"Of course."

"Good hubby" Siv approves

Jess is fine just eating and chatting. "All the clean up done?"

"All done" comes Maria's answer "We got all those spooky decorations down"

"Any damages?"

"Si, some"

"What got hurt?"

"One bed was..ah, broken, it will need new boards" She says

Siv fights a smile. It's a fight she's losing, but she's trying

Then she goes on "There was some graffiti on the walls, they were wiped clean"

Jess blushes a little. "Ok...."

Maria finishes up the report "We had a bit of a back flow with a toilet, but it's fine"

"Have the other Freeholds checked in?"

" Mitra sent some notes but no emergencies" Diego speaks up from his part of the table "Relax, Jessica. If there was one they'd tell you"

"Just asking...."

Siv says "You can't ask a troll not to look out to everyone's safety, Diego. It makes us twitchy"

"Were Mitra's notes for me?"

"POssibly for me to write down but I have them here if you like, Countess" Constance returns to take more notes at dinner

Jess takes and reads the ones addressed to her.

Minor damage, much of what Mitra confirmed on their walk together. Lots of respect for the dead.

She nods and hands them back to Constance. "Thanks."

Constance nods "Happy to Serve" And to work she gets scratching down her notes.

"Constance.." Siv says "You and your husband are having dinner. He's right there"

Constance looks up "A fair point. If I may." She moves, and sits in her husband's lap... and then.. goes back to writing

Siv facepalms

Jess takes another bite, politely ignoring these antics.
