Jessie shifts impatiently on her seat but waits. Barely.

"But from what I can tell, the goal was to kill La Cernícala... "he begins

"No, really..." Mitra says deadpan as any troll

"Oh si si, BUT.." His eyes look side to side "Did you know about the theft?"

"Hold on, hold on... the goal was to kill Cernicala and make it seem like -Mitra- did it?" she clarifies with wide blue eyes.

Brekke frowns. "Theft?"

"I saw a dark great cat made of smoke spit out Mitra before raised torches, and I saw the Pit close up... a shadow gloating as it held in one hand a feather, in another, a scale"

"A cat?" She pauses. "A lion?"

"I didn't see a mane, more like a jaguar..."

Jessie frowns. "Nunnehi. But they -like- the Pitt!"

"Wait, what kind of feather?"

"Eagle I tthink? But hard to say, very colorful though"

"Countess. I am your rChampionn, si? I'll stay here. If someone tries anythig hurtful to you while they are small, I will stop them, thenn I will hurt them. "

"Wait, though .... ok, so they wanted to kill La Cernicala and blame Mitra and then steal Abuela.... I think she would be -hard- to kidnap.... and... steal something?"

Titto shrugs "the omen is as clea s I can get it. WHO is behinnd this.. I think they want to rile the nuhnie and the commoners against you and Regent Mittra"

"You said something about a theft!" Jessie protests.

Jessie thinks for a moment. "The entire County." she answers Brekke.

"Thanks, Phobos."

"I'm not surre the nunehi were behind this, at least not all of them"

"Jaguar is one of their totems but it would be super easy to use it to confuse things."

Brekke sighs and nods at the county comment.

"You have a Nunnehi representative, as I recall. You should speak with him on this."

She sighs, looks a little disappointed, and says "Can someone see if Otem is available?"

Brekke notes the look. "Speaking with Otem is a problem?"

"Well....." reluctant but truthful "I guess there's no hiding it. Being young. Everyone's going to know about it."

Otem is sent for ...

A puzzled look. "I do not understand."

She lifts her chin "I'd just as soon as few people as possible know that I got younger, but it is what it is."

"Where is the Countess?" the obsidian skinned man asks

Another sigh, and Jessie raises her hand. "Here, Otem. Something happened, can you help us?"

He looks back and forth between Jessica and Mitra "I tthik the balance must come back on it's own"

"No, that's... no, yes it will but there's something else. Tito Woden, can you tell him?"

"And... um... have you met Chieftain Brekke of Rivervale?" she sheepishly introduces "This is Otem, our Nunnehi ambassador."

Otem inclines his head "Your daughterr has done great deeds , some of which to help us"

Brekke nods in return. "Her father and I are very pleased with the fine work she has done here. I am glad she is succeeding where she hoped to."

Tito explains wha the others already know

Otem's brows shoot up "that would destroy our peace....the Pittt is sacred to many of us"
