Brekke listens carefully, one hand on Jessie's small shoulder.

"La cernícala's killers are hard to read with Soothsay" he replies "Perhaps because she is, but with the symbol ontop of it... I was able to go to the scene of the crime so to speak and cast my own magics, since the counter cantrip had already gone off."

Phobos is looking confused "Where's the Countess?"

"Phobos.... we need security plussed up, extra and additional patrols...."

"And who is this nina?"

Brekke clears her throat and looks to Mitra.

"I'm Regent Baroness Mitra Mitras, " Mitra reintroduces herself "And this is Countess Jessica King. There was an incident"

Phobos blue screens for a moment

A careful squeeze on Jessie's shoulder.

"She will recover," Brekke says firmly to Phobos.

"I'm OK!" she reposts.

"How.. what.. the... boss? We got two kid countesses now?"

"NO...noooo... no. Not ... no."

"Phobos, can you enhance security here?"

"I can be here more often to support you," Brekke offers.

"Two weeks" Mitra explains...

"Security? Oh yeah, sure ... boss. I... Si. We can do that" Phobos slowly comes out of it then looks at Mitra "Two weeks?"

"Should fade off by then" Mitra says

"Support would be welcome, Chieftain. I can't speak for Fenix proper, but the Pit would surely appreciate it"

She blinks. "The Pit? I mean...to help Je...the Countess."

"True, and help here would also help the pitt by allowing me to put more resources on my own hold" Mitra says "Apologies to you, Chieftain. I wouldn't presume to tell you how to assist, merely that any assistance helps us all"

"Ah." A nod. "Thank you. You are, of course, correct."

"Must be getting a bit addled in my old age" she jests lightly

"I hope your age does not pain you?"

"Oh I'm still in fighting shape, but I do have the oddest urge to make happy sighs whenever I sit down. " She blinks

"I need a drink" Phobos mutters
