"You did?? Excellent!" Jess pushes off the fence where she'd been leaning "Will you both excuse me? I'd like to follow up on that."

THey shrug and she's off. Tito Woden is not hard to find. .. he's got his own lab kind of... and he's using it. The cocky young wilder has been mroe somber of late

"Tito Woden?" she peers in.

"Yes?" He looks up from some stones, and a small drop of blood on a leaf

"Is that from the dragon fight? May I come in?"

"Of course, and yes, yes it is... I've done some reading and scrying. The blood let me break some barriers"

"When you're ready, I'm happy to hear the results." it doesn't take much to know that NOW would be just fine with Jessica but she'll wait if she must.

He looks up after what seems a long time, then says "It's... Duff's blood"

Jessica exhales, resigned.

"I'm sorry, Comtessa. but I used THREE cantrips on it. He's sneaky, but I managed to bypass his protections."

"No need to apologize, Tito Woden." she says "His choices, his Da'an."

"Anything on the dragon?"

"The dragon's blood has revealed more as well.. I think I can track her where ever she goes. "

"Can you do it now? What resources do you need?"

"AH, dross?" he says "Probably mroe than one. Also.. ah, company. (I don't want to face even a wounded dragon alone"

Jessica nods. "I'm happy to go with you. Wait. Could you track Duff?"

"Si... The great Tito-Woden has been practicing"

Jess nods. "Give me a few minutes to get some people together, then find him?"

A nod "Si" He gathers some ingredients as she goes off

Ash, and Nancy, then, and Phobos and Demos, then Buce

They are all rounded up

Nancy seems the most surprised "You NEVER invite me along on this stuff" Excited "Yay satyrs represent"

Jessica describes "We know who the black knight is. We're going to make sure he's ok, offer healing if allowed. Chimera don't get to attack and kill Fae in Renaissance. If he needs, it, we bring him back to Fenix for healing. If he turns us down, then we come back without him."

"Huh.. well boss, if you want us to break his arms and legs until he accepts healing, we will" Phobos offers

"No." firmly "He might be unable to get to help, so we're going to him. If he needs and will allow it, we heal him. If he needs defending, we do that too. If he refuses, we come away."

Tito-Woden says "I have the spell ready when you are"

Jessica nods. "Go ahead."

Tito-Woden chants "Duff is tuff, but maybe not enough, treated ruff, we'll put the stuff, back into his guts, even if he huffs"

"Ouch" Nancy says

But a flickering wisp appears... and he says "We follow"

And they do.

They travel the streets, moving along...

If any street gangs consider "asking" for money, Phobos and Demos looks scary enough, even to unenchanted , like a bit too Dangerous to hit up for cash

Nancy in the middle of the group, Jess and Tito Woden out in front, Phobos, Demos, Ash and Buce around them... yeah, probably best not to mess with this group.

Buce sighs as some gang bangers decide to vanish, "No one wants to play dodgeball when the target might be them. Alas, twas ever thus"

Jess is, somewhat grimly, focused on the wisp.

It approaches the tattoo shop, then weaves about looking confused, dragged down to the ground

Jess frowns at it, laying there.

"This is.. odd' TIto says "I'm very sorry.. oh wait, it's moving again.." It rolls along the ground, then sinks into a grate!

A sigh. "He's in the sewers." she looks at her party "Anyone who'd rather not go in there, I understand. You can wait here, or in my apartment, or go back to Fenix."

"I won't lie, my thought is 'eww' but .. he could be hurt.. sewers just means bigger chance for infection. I'll go" Nancy says determined

"We must rescue thy paramour or less" Buce says "Whateer the distance"

"I think we're all in, Countess" Ash nods

She nods. "Phobos, Demos, take us in? Dame Ash, Sir Buce, protect us and follow last?"

THe redcaps lift the grate and jump down, then help Nancy, and the boss.. and Tito

And now assembled, they discover something, the sewage here is remarkably easy to avoid. Someone has dug a groove to draw away the worst of the stinik water. It still smells, but it's not something you step into

The wisp no longer hits the floor, but bobs chest level in the tunnel, going forward
