Thanksgiving for the childlings is full of food, fun, and friends.

"She's going to butcher it... " Ahpuch whispers

Adler whispers back "She will carve the turkey fine"

"I bet you five gummy worms Ellie messes up" Ahpuch says "She is good with a sword, but this is sugery.. for a dead thing"

"Make it ten," Adler has confidence. The two boys are both sluagh, and while attitudes very, they both find this part fascinating.

Ahpuch and Adler BOTH find themselves getting a pinch each! Salma has two hands, when they aren't both filled with books.

So unusual is this, a bookless Salma, that both whisper yelp in surprise and 'quiet' down

Salma whispers serenely, "If there were any mistakes, which there won't be, that would just be extra scraps to be set under the cupboard for later. Though such ungrateful commentary makes me wonder if you would prefer me to make up your plates? Rosa made the most lovely fresh cranberry sauce. It has ginger and cinnamon in it."

Adler blushes "Disculpe"

The sluagh lick their lips. Holger nods approvingly as Salma chastises the Sluagh

Ariel beams "Up at home, there's all kinds of foods, hams, wild turkeys, corn, so mcuh corn and squash"

Ellie takes her job Very Seriously!

That there are pumpkin churros is a bonus.

"Owe me gummy worms" Adler whispes smugly to Ahpuch as the turkey is carved expertly
