"Can you explain to your people that a 10 minute introduction and a proposal isn't how my people do these things? I don't mean offense, but we're trying to find a way together, here."

"If they are serious about this... suggestion, it's going to take me time. You and I will need to spend time together, and you here at Feix and probably me at one of your people's own places when they are ready to share. That's what this is about, right, sharing?"

"In the mean time, maybe a formal alliance doesn't have to be on paper. A troll's Oath is their soul's strength. Maybe that's one way to work on this."

"Has a troll ever talked about making an Oath with your people?"

"Not that I know of"

"Then it might be hard to understand what I'm offering. My description was true; my Oath is my soul's strength. If I break my given Oath, I lose my strength and every other Fae in Concordia will know my shame and treachery."

"Everything we'vve talked about today is, yes."

He enjoys the food and drink then says "So, tell me something about yourself I do not know. Do you have any hobbies? Art, music? Do you like to dance?"

"OH, um.... " CHANGE OF TOPIC! "I'm not much of a performer, no. I mean, I -can- dance, and carry a tune in a bucket. If you're talking about things I like to do... I like hiking. Reading. I'm not really an extrovert. I like quiet-time." something she surely cannot get too much of, in her position.

"Reading? I should find some of our works for you" A nod

"I would very much like that. I am working local dialects but I don't have much in the way of written samples."

"Neither do we" he admits "That has changed some what. "

"We were more oral, but there are fewer of us, so we bend"

"Please excuse an ignorant question, but do your people use color to define the written symbols you use?"

A brow then "Interesting... not so much but color is crucial to some of our cultures. The four main gods were associated with color"

"Iwould like to learn more of this. Were your Nunnehi seen as gods by your mortals?"

"Children of the gods more likely," he says

She nods understanding.

"I understand your sidhe make similar claims?"

"Depending on the time frame, some of them claimed godhood outright. Some still do, or have tried to. Some.... many.... do not. Not anymore."

"Mmm " A nod "We are not gods, but I do believe the blood of gods is in our veins still"

"As do some Sidhe, yes."

"Does that make you think less of us? Of me?" Curious

"No."

"What of trolls? I know they are guardians, but ... surely they have a sense of heritage?"

A small smile, all the more interesting because it's so rare. "Oh, yes. Definitely. We're Dreams of strength, duty, and loyalty. We can also be stubborn." That smile again "Our dreams originated, mostly, from the north of Europe. Scandinavia."

A smile "It sounds like a r ich line indeed. "

She nods. "It is. It's not... flashy, or showy... but constant and reliable."

"I fear down here we see your people as ruthless and relentless fists of the sidhe"

She nods. "I hope to change that perception."

"I think for some of us, you have"

"I am glad of that."

She looks around a moment, and pours herself a glass of water.

"Tell me, do you like Mexico? At least this part of it?"

"I do. It took some getting used to; I never, even for a moment, considered I would make my home here but.... I have, and it -is- my home now."

"Your spanish is excellent for one not born here" He concedes "And I know you have been working on indigenious tongues"

"My Spanish had to improve. Quickly. Immersion." she says "And if I am serious about peace, I should work to improve communication, correct?"

"It helps" He nods

"Yes. It's important to communicate clearly, and with the difference in our cultures, it is especially challenging."

"The gift should help with that i hope" A smile

She chuckles, another rarity. "I am sure it will."

Omet nods "I hope so. " He fidgets "I fear my..ah , socializing skills may not be up to par with the courtiers you are used to"
