"And Stafýli knew she could go... but she had done this to save her mother, and she loved her home and so... she said 'no, no thank you' " Zane says "Not because she did not want to see Olympus, or her father, but because it was her mother who needed her, and the vinyards of home that called ,and there is no shame in that. She did ask a blessing from her father, and as a blessing, the land grew rich with grapes and joy... and the villagers were blessed even though some did not deserve it. And some where shamed for treating her wrong. There are tales that Stafýli took many satyrs to dance with and kiss ,and some that her mother was reborn as one as part of a favor... but I don't know that. Few know of Stafýli, a few more now that you've heard. So Stafýli did die, of time and age.. and her mother the same.. and maybe they came back, maybe they didn't, but they knew love and joy and the world was better for hteir being there. THere are far too many immortals who could not say the same. Should you find some Stafýli wine or grape juice in the Dreaming when you are older, think of what's important to you, what you love ,and then drink. It makes the flavor even mroe magical"
