Then the flayed man whips about, his strraps of skin slapped and strikes like loose ropes or whips

Shard is driven back, then wipes his lips, and approaches slow. The flayed man lunges for him, only to have those skin straps used against him as Shard Grabs them, and flips him over!

And Shard does. Though it it's like wrestling someone with tentacles, Shard slams him down and pins, taking more struggles stoicly. Troll might remains triumphant

The Nunneh upstairs cheer callingg out a word she doesn't reconize

She can't help but feel a little kith-pride.

"Do you know what they are saying?" she murmurs to Mitra.

"I think it's like Huzzah, or praise the gods... but what exactly I donnn't know"

"Mmph."

"Maybe Fawn knows.. " Thoughtful

"I wondered. I'll ask her to come by, let her know when would be good? Are they here often like this?"

"At least twice a week"

She nods. "I'll ask Fawn to visit."

"Annything else we can do for you?"

A rueful smile "Forgive me when I misstep, and welcome me when I visit?"

There's a quick hug, and Jess is on her way back to Fenix.

She approaches and takes her familiar seat at the hearth, tickling the flames gently. "How're you?"

"Of course," She smiles

"Thank you." she stands, a few fingertips to the flames "I might go grab a nap."

"Well earned," She begins to sing softly.
