"Just the usual reports. I think Siv and her, um, friends were there recently, but they didn't mention anything to me."

"Probably too busy running to the beach" Mitra observes

"Um. Yes. No doubt."

"A shame you don't have a spot at court for your little sister" Abuela says, "Then you could have some of your family right by your side all the time" Abuela beams

Mitra comes to the rescue "Oh I'm afraid River Vale needs her desperately, Abuela. Nautical missions over there in the Atlantic, and other events. Right, Jessica?"

"Yes, absolutely, she's needed at Rivervale." quickly.

"Ah, a pity, but at your mama and papa have her help then" A nod from the feathered dragon

"Yes. They do."

"Now, Abuela... tell Jessica about the chimera you've seen in the area.." mitra says

Jessica nods, ready to listen.

"Well, I had to eat a few" Somehow her scales and feathers blush "But they were very bad"

"However, I should tell you, you have a unicorn in your lands" a smile

"A unicorn??"

"A lovely one, most majestic is he" she says

"How did you come to find out about it? Him, that is."

"You are not the only one who patrols. Sometimes I want to fly. i caught him on a roof over the city, looking at the skylines and such. He seemed to like the breeze. "

"He walked on clouds, leapt from one to the other, and sometimes rooftop to roof top" She nods "He was curious about Fenix. He said there was a pool of healing he wanted to see."

"He's welcome, of course. Um, that is, if you see him again."

"I wonder if he's really a unicorn, I say we vet him" Mitra says

Abuela huffs "So distrustful"

"Vet him?"

"If he's a unicorn, I mean..... kind of obvious, right?"

"Make sure he's really a unicorn.. and not just someone shapechanged to look like a unicorn"

"What would be the point of that?"

"To gain access to your hold and the spa" Mitra says

"Oh." Yes, that would make sense.

"You see how distrustful she is?" Abuela fusses "I worry."

"Well.... she has a point."

"See?" Mitra says "Abuela, I know he FELT Noble and wonderful to you, but that's just how a really good spy would feel"

Jess sighs. "Ok, well.... if you see him again, if anyone does, let me know?"

"I will" Abuela says, then casts her eyes down "You're only eating ONE Taco?"

"Abuela, they -do- feed me at Fenix...."

"Well, they should do it more often, you will famish"

"I will not famish."

"MItra is already wasting away so skeeny" She huffs

Mitra rolsl her eyes "I'm a SIDHE, Part of our power is beauty and right slender is beautiful so I have a willowy effect at the waste..."

"Yes, a Willow. A tree...which is just a big stick" Abuela points out

Mitra sighs "We're not doing this again"

Jess politely stays out of it.

Indeed, Abuela now fusses over Mitra, Mitra explains "By Sidhe standards I'm substantial" She is athletic

Jess nods to support her friend.

"mmph " Abuela is not so sure!

But she lets it go "Fine fine... only eat ONE More taco each" A compromise

The Regent takes a taco, and tears it in half, and then hands that have to Jessica "Take it or leave it, Abuela"

But she lets it slide

Jessica eats her half a taco.

Mitra finishes hers "Pardon us, Abuela... I have to discuss matters with the countess" And she walks with Jessica and mutters "She means well but argh. She treats every woman like they're a girl of 13"

"Pardon, Abuela. It was good to see you." and as she walks with Mitra she murmurs "It was your idea to see her......"
