Mitra chuckles "Turns out she was right, the floral design seems to be a hit with the Nunehi and others ignore it. "

Sayda beams and looks at Mitra "See?"

Mitra gives the girl a look "Don't push it"

"Yes, Regent" the girl sighs, then asks "Can I go play?"

Mitra looks to Jessica to see if that's all right

Jess shrugs. She's not in charge here, exactly.

"Go on, Sayda" she shoos the childling, then the Eiluned turns at her "What can I fill you in on? And would you like a drink?"

"Everything, and water? Thank you."

Ice water in a glass is offered "Everything is a tall order. .. but in a nut shell, the Nunnehi still have a respect for this place and are partaking in ceremonies. THey understand no weapons in the hold proper ... which frustrates them, but they're happy for wrestling and brawling mostly. We also run some mean games of hoop. They prefer games at dawn. It's fascinating really. I've actually made friends"

"The oddes thing is the glamour surge form some of the ceremonies. It's almost as if they're musing themsselves by battle which I suppose makes sense"

"Are you ok with... well here. And is Sayda?"

"So far we're perfectly...well, I would say safe. Though of course injuries will happen in the pitt. WHy?" A curious til "Have you heard something of dangers besides what I know here?"

Jess drink to refresh herself. "No. I mean... not moreso?"

Mitra shrugs "THis place seems important to the Nunnehi... and thus important to your plans. OH that new lady, Fawn? The centaur? I met her, she speaks wiht some of them fluently. Can I borrow her now and then?"

"I'm ready to make her a Dame with permission....... well whatever and all if she can help."

"Granddame or not, she's not sained YET.. let's not ennobl her for just having a langauge.." Mitra is alarmed "Really Jessica, sometimes you come up with such intense untraditional ideas it startles my traditionalist heart."

"I should move on. Good to see you."

She drinks all her water and moves along.

"Sorry, your excellency," An amused look "But I thought I should get that out there in case you were serious"

"Wait, Jessica..." She moves by her side "What's wrong? You're not one for open displays but we are friends. "

"Nothing is wrong."

A shrug. "You should know.... Duff and I have decided to .... we're not seeing each other. And NO I am not looking for someone."

"Of course you aren't. what sane person would be," A shake of her head "I'm sorry, Jessica. That it had to end. Did you want me to drop by your apartment tonight, so you can tell others you're covered, and rather than pester you about yoru love life we can watch action movies or play cards?"

"No. I mean.... no. I'm ok with it now. I ... I just don't want it to be a thing"

"It won't be, however you remain my friend as well as liege no matte what 'thing' is going on in my or your life, however, if you prefer ot throw yourself into your work?" She has an option

Jess nods. " Thank you.

"Follow me, please" She leads her to the offices

A certain book is pulled, a quill pen is twisted, and out of the desk a secret side panel opens ,and she hands over a slim book "Here are notes and collected details of the Nunnehi who have been attending. Which are most regular, what 'tribe' they seem to be of, appearance, their behavior as indvididuals, cross indexin with others of the same tribe reggardinng that. Aiblities, types of cantrips observed"

She takes the information. "What... where...."

"Why?"

"Because you are my liege and you want to understand these people so I have gathered what I can on them so you might, because I want to make sure if one of the Nunnehi does betray us I know which one rather than blaming them all, and mostly because, I'm an Eiluned Jessica, we and the slaugh share some attitudes about our right to pry"

"I don't like that." She takes the offered the material. "You know, more that anyone, what my goals are."

"Jessica, I'm not tracking where they sleep at night or anything, just things anyone might learn thorugh careful observation"
