"JESSICA" Jessica returnns and gets her leg tackled

It's Ariel

"Hello. Is something wrong? I was only gone a few nights...."

"We MISSED you, Jessica" the little girl says "Ellie is a good ruler, but it's a lot of work. "

"That's why she has all of you to help her." Jessica points out, still pinned.

"Well, I tried to talk her into turning this into a republic, but she said you MIGHT think that was a bit too much. Salma wanted it to be ruled by Philospher Kings... Ahpuch was all for a theocracy and so on" the little girl seems glued.

"Do I have a place to come back to, then?" she asks.

"Of course you do" Ariel finally lets go "There's a big meal waiting for you. Annd Mr. Duff dropped by. And Mr. Luis met him. And they stared at each other funny."

"Let's go get that meal, then. Maybe Ellie and the others of her court would like to join us?"

"I should ask!" Realization "You go ahead. I'll round up some kids" And off she goes in a race

Jess goes to drop off her bag and clean up if/as needed.

She does now have time to do so, as Ariel is off, and Jessica's leg is freed

A quick shower, a change of clothes, and she does feel refreshed as she goes to the dining room or kitchen

Much refreshed she goes to find that meal; Kerri didn't let her leave hungry of course, but she has to eat -something- to calm her own boggans.

As always, they made too much. It smells nice though. And the chair is..comfy enough

She pauses to check the chair, just in case. Comfy -enough-? Opposed to the usual level of comfy?

her caution pays off. Some pooka slipped whoop cushion on it. They missed her too.

She slips it off onto the floor, checks again, and sits.

Okay, no flurphh sound

"I think the childlings might be joining us." She advises, sitting politely at her seat and not serving herself in any way.

"Of course, i's good to have you back"

Marie asks "How did it go? Your family, they are well?"

Jess nods. "They are, thank you. And they send their best."

"They're nice people" Rosa joins in as they set smaller plates

Ariel and Holger and Onyx come in, Ariel says "Ellie's finishing her braille class still"

"And Salma's..well, Salma" meaninng she's in a book

"She has to eat, yes? Sometime?"

"I'll make surre she does" Ariel offers "I'll sick Marie and Rosa on them!"

Them meaning Salma too.

"Shall we wait, or go ahead?"

"Go ahead," She says "Holger needs to eat. He was patrolling EXTRA hard while you were away"

Holger blushes and mutters sheepishly "I want to protect"

Jessica smiles. "Thank you for taking such good care of Fenix while I was gone, Holger."

Holger straigthens "Is the least I can do for the Countesses. "

Onyx asks "Did you exploits in Rivervale serve Fenix too?"

"Yes; our alliance is stronger than ever."

Onyx nods the young Ailil accepts this. He's still trancy, but he's been better and better

"You look well." Jessica remarks.

The sidhe boy looks at her with a straight face, "I'm a sidhe. I can't help it." then a SMALL Smile slips out. was that a joke? he's actually up to jokes?

An eyebrow, but no frown.

Holger says "Onyx sometimes helps me guard."

"Excellent." she approves "I am glad to hear that."

Onyx nods "I won't let my guard down again."

The boys eat heartily.

Jessica.... eats appreciatively.

And somewhere in between is Ariel

And so the meal, or light snack in some cases, goes.
