"Then I am glad I did my duty for I did have a lot of fun" After considering this then he whispers "but sometimes, watching over those I care about? that is fun too. they donn' understand but it is so"

Jessica nods slowly. "-I- understand."

"I knew you would" He says gratefully, "Shall I fetch you a drink before I report to Ellie?"

He bows and goes on. Much cheered even though there are no lessonns at Rivervale today

Her satyr friend smiles "Did I wake you?"

Jessica had fallen asleep

"Mm?!?" Jessica is startled, not by Nancy but by having fallen asleep.

"Oh...." she stands, looking about alertly "What's wrong?"

"Nothing! I was just sayinng hello and... ah, I got you a Post Beltaine gift"

"Oh...." relaxing a bit "Well thank you, Nancy, but you didn't need to do that."

"I know, but giftingg is one of my many love languages" She holds up something, a T shirt with a nature print.. wait, is that the view of the woods at a high point at RIvervale?

"oh.. uhm .. let me re order that. I know a person who turns photos into T shirts. I went to RV and took a picture of a view I thought was pretty and sent it in. The Shirt came in. Also, I ran into Zane and he says hello."

"Oh! Right! Ok.... yes. This is...." she reaches to take it if she'll give it "....Nancy, this is really wonderful. Thank you."

She does give it. And smiles "You're welcome. "

Jess looks it over again, smiles.

"Oh, please tell Zane hello for me. Where'd you see him, is he here?"

"I saw him at Rivervale, but he's thinking of visiting"

"Rivervale is welcome here, certainly."

"Great. He's a bit younger than I am, but cute. Plus he does magic tricks for the kids"

"He was after my time at Rivervale, but I've met him since. Seems a good sort."

"He and Tito-Woden are onnlinne pals. Did you know that?"

"Oh. No, I didn't. I guess it makes sense, though."

"Anyway, I know you and Ellie were stuck in your respective limelights, but I did some ssmoozing on the edges during Beltaine. The Nunehi make folks nervous, but they also seem to have faith in you"

"Did... how did they seem to take Beltaine?"

"The locals? Loved it it over all." A frown "Some ah, worries for you personally, but that's your private life "
