Mr Viggo explains to Jessica, "I'm teaching her Braille. The girl is smart, but her dyslexia has underminded her confidence. It may seem a round about way to help her reading skills of the regular sort, but trust me, it should help, and she's certainly happier"

Jessica holds up her hands. "No arguement from me."

"It seems a lot more work" Ash isnn't so sure "But you're the expert"

"Work and games are only so far apart... she considers it a game for now, and I hope to have her see it as such. " Viggo smiles toothlessly

"Is there anything you need?"

"Yes, I am sorry to say it, but I may need materials, braille blocks made, things like that. It may cut into monetary costs"

"We'll handle it. Give Diego a list, have him talk to me."

He bows "yes, Countess" And he slips away

Ash watches him go "I never would have thought of Braille"

"Again, I'm sorry to have kept you in that position, Dame. You have done an excellent job."

"Not sure on that, your excellency, but thanks for saying so"

"I'm not prone to false praise, Dame."

"Not false, just perhaps too generously offered, but my apologies if I sound like I accused you of falsehood. " then "There is annother mater to discuss. Young Sir Onyx?"

"I have heard he is improving, slowly."

"Yes, improved enouh I've learned his House" She says

"And?"

"He's an Ailil" She says

A slow inhale and exhale.

"I know. I know. " She says "the good news is he seems to feel indebted to Ellie"

"But if he's Ailil.... there may be a limit to that feeling."

"Possible" she says "He's still a tramauized little boy in need of our help in restoration. But I thought you should know we've got a Wyvern in our midst. Pardon 'dragon'" She makes air quotes "I've seen their symbol, looks more like a Wyvern to me and the venomous nature often fits. Still, he's a child"

Jessica nods. "Our help, he shall have. What does he need?"

"Right now? Kindness, glamour, and I think a knowledge that his friends are fine. Ariel's music helps them all"

"Keep me posted. I'll try to spend more time with them."

"Itzel and Tex are becoming good friends, which I did not see coming. That little redcap is benefiting from it, and she gets someone to test her crafts on who doesn' complain as long as he gets to much a lugnut now and then. Ariel is wantingg to be REALLY good friends with Eternia, but I think she comes on a bit strong for a shy Selkie"

"Has Eternia made it to the sea yet?"

"Oh yes, quite a happy visit tha" She says

"Good. Did the others go with her?"

"Oh yes, Ariel, Holger insisted, annd yes, her crew, even Adler.. though he hid under a big black umbrella"

"Understandable, I suppose."

"Holger, about him? sendingg him to visit Rivervale now and then has been GOOD for him. He's taking pride in his heritage without being arrogant about it. Speaks of your parents with great respect"

"That's good to hear."

"However, one day Salma and Ellie and Ariel are going to swarm Rivervale and give it the white glove inspection. You've been warned"

"Sounds like I should warn Rivervale." dryly.

Ash nods "I think they might smile at i anyway. Lord knows we do"

Jess smiles. A little.

"You did him a good tthing introducing him to that world." A nod "It's to your credit. Now.. shall we see if we can get diego to get us some wine, or at least some of the really good coffee out of his reserves?"

"That sounds good, Dame. Yes, please."

Diego has a knnack for having the best of almost everything in reserve. For a revolutionary, he's a good steward.
