Salma easily changes gears, and tells about how Ramona and Beezus went to the beach! Adler may like the bit about how Ramona stuck her hand in a bait bucket by accident and felt all the squirmy worms. The bit about Beezus not wanting to swim in her new swimsuit, but then going in the water and having fun, is for Eternia. And the speedboat that is tinkered to throw up huge waves but gets stuck on a sand bar until the lifeguards swim out and have to dig it free, may be for Itzel! Salma watches Onyx, hoping that the story in general may appeal, as she crafts a Ramona and Beezus timeline that may never have existed, but does now...

Onyx smiles.. a facial expression, no small thing

"And remember, remember when Henry came with Ribsy and..."

"Yes! And then..." Looking to Ariel as well.

Ariel laughs "I know... and then Romana's cat..."

"Did the cat get eatten?"

"No, but one time Ramona's mom made a GIANT TONGUE... with BUMPS..."

Salma giggles!

laughter... and Onyx finally turns and says with dignity "That's funny"

The rescued children now appear to have voile onn top of their mortal garments.. as if what was taken is retturninn with the power of Friendship (Patent Pending)

Onyx says "I..feel better. Thank you." He looks to The Countess, "I am Sir Onyx, and I am your knight if you will have me"

"You may have to ask Holger. He is caballero originale." Fondly.

"I am no knight" Holger shakes his head

"You may not be a 'knight', but you are our Cabellero." Salma says in a tone that brooks no arguement.

A little brow furrow. "I think you should be a knight to the other three. To protect them."

Onyx says "I am their friend. I.. tried to lead them" He frowns "You do not wish me to swear to you?"

"You are their friend, yes! I don't know if I am ready to have anybody swear to me yet."

"I am the small countess, not the big one."

"Ah" He says and nods "Okay. Well, I may not be sworn, but I am your knight if you need one"

She nods. "That is acceptable."

"And I think Holger deserves Knnight's reward!" And Eternia rises up, on tippy toe to reach up and kisses Holger ON the cheek

He blushes furiously

"Holger is very valiant."

Salma blinks at the smooch from Eternia, and stares down at her hands. Mildly annoyed, though she's not sure why.

Holger says "Gracias"

Soft fuss over Salma's hands.

She reassures Ellie that she's fine, showing the unmarked skin on both sides, even the small singe from earlier fully healed. And welcomes the distraction!

And that's when a voice says "Hola, Children" Father V has returned, "I believe we have something for Eternia"

"We should find the kittens."

"Oh!"

And he offers her a pair of seal skin shoes!

eternia squees and grabs and holds them and hugs them

Ahpuch observes and whispers "Girls get so excited about shoes"

Adler whispers back "if your soul was in them you might too"

Ellie claps, "Hoobah!"

And she puts them on and boom!

Selkieehood restored!

"We will go to the shore!"

"I think it's best to hold that off till tomorrow. You have all been through a lot" Father V says

"Si, manana."

"Oh to see the ocean again" A happy sigh from tthe selkie girl

Siiiigh. "Even if I am grounded, you should go."

"Yes, ather a must with selkies" Father V says "As for grounding, I don't know what the Countess has decided"

"But it ainn't frikinn FAIR..." Itzel says "They SAVED us... none of em should be grounded"
