Clem looks over at Jessica, "Sorry to dump our family problems on Fenix"

"My family has its fair share." Jessica points out.

"Any of them come back from the dead, join a house without telling anyone?" clem says

"Clem, it's not a clan competition" Kelby huffs "Look, I didn't do this lightly."

"I ended up a Countess." Jessica offers.

"Yeah, bad things happen to good people" Clem pats Jessica on the shoulder

Kelby says "Look, I'm still Kelby. Do we have to make a fuss?"

"Fuss? Kelby, you swore and oath to a House. You know our laws. To voluntarily swear to an outside source like that means you're ....I can't let you live on the farm. Visit yes, but live no. WHere are you going to live?" Clem looks worried

"Isn't that part of what a House does? Provide shelter?"

"Danaan doesn't have many holds, we travel a lot..." Kelby admits

"Great" Clem says pacing "Any trouble from family so far?"

"Coy won't talk to me" Kelby says. Shrug (It hurts a little but I'm not going to cry about it)

"That lunkhead" Clem mutters then looks at Jessica "And he's one of our more open minded sorts at times"

Jessica nods.

"Kelby, you're welcome here as long as you like."

"Thanks. I might take you up on that, but I do have some missions to do" Kelby says "Also, if Coy doesn't want to talk to me..welll, I don't want to cause tension"

"We have an entire county here."

Clementine says "We'll send you some to pay for her upkeep if need be."

Kelby stiffens "I'll pay for my own upkeep thank you"

"Clem, the DeBukes and Renaissance are allies. That means we help take care of each other."

The Chieftain nods "Much obliged regardless, and Kelby.. "A bit of a smile "Gues you haven't changed that much. Still getting your hackles up for pride sake"

Kelby rolls her eyes "if I'd changed that much I'd tell you to call me SIR kelby.. but I ain't because I don't have my nose out of joint with pretense." THen she turns to Jessica "my grumbling aside, I AM grateful, Jessica. And .. do you prefer Jessica, Countess, or Holder?"

"Jessica, please."

"Good, because noble or not I still just perfer names" Kelby admits "now, I joined the house for some reasons. You two want to hear them?"

"If you're willing to say." Jessica nods and leads them both to a seat and drinks.

Clem nods as well and they sit down

Kelby says "As you guys know, thallians are just the shock troops for darker powers. And Dark Kin are..well, they fought for the wrong side. Some are salvagable, some are not." Kelby takes a drink

"Some are salvagable?"

"Oh yes" Kelby says "Thallian ? Lost cause, but Dark Kin.. Adhene? Some were neutral before, and some? Some are just glad to be free of service to the Fomroians. And some actually are SCARED of what htier old masters have set in motion. " SHe shrugs "Think of it like how trolls fought on both sides during the Accordance war."

"Fair enough."

"We heard as much on the farm, still a risk" Clem says "That's why you're back?"

"No, Clem. I'm back to talk about the Dark Wave. It's coming, a surge of dark energies....House Dananan has intell... something big is coming soon in the year 2021"

After a longish silence Jessica looks at them. "We have to spread the word, then."

"It's awfully vague, Kelby" Clem says "I mean, I agree with Jessica, but that's not much to go on"

"Can you give us more specifics?"

"Watch for the barrier between worlds even a mortal may pass" Kelby recites

"No..." Kelby huffs "Look, this information was got in the Dreaming, you guys do know the mists are fussy right?"

"Yes, yes....."

Clem looks at Jessica " I admit, I thought the same thing" regarding Beaumayn "Only with me it was a Pooka soothsayer"

Kelby says "Look, there are likely more clues on the when, wheres, and hows ...but at least folks know they need to investigate now."

"What is your House doing with these clues and information?"

"Trying to learn more.. and sending folks like me to spread word. They were understaffed so to speak. I was considered worthy. THey had legitimate need, and as I didn't want to see all things end- I took the charge" Kelby says

"How can we help?"

"Spread the word.. keep eyes open.. and let me know what your own seers and resources say?" Kelby says "That goes for all really. "

Jessica nods. "We can do that."

"Will do" Clem says

"I know the family won't trust me as the source" Kelby says to Clem

"You let me worry about that" Clem says "Once they think about it, they'll realize you did this because it will HELP the farm and it was the only way you could. I don't know if I agree with you swearing a House like so but... I DO know you did it for reasons to help the farm"

"Oh Clem, thanks but .. it's SO much bigger than the farm" Kelby says and looks distant "So very much bigger"
