"You look concerned. Is the book wrong?"

Ariel trots in "Hey oh. Ellie, you and Salma are here" as if suprirsed

"Shhh, she's reading."

"oh" Ariel sits down in an Indian style

“The author has... interesting ideas.” She says, but with a mild frown.

"Interesting bad?"

And yet, she can’t seem to stop turning pages. “Interesting.., he must be a dreamer? He’s so close on some things, but so far away in others. It’s really terrible...”

"Does he know too much? Do we need to get a wizard to zap his memory?"

"Is he writing about us?" She leans against Salma, peering at the book. "Are there pictures?"

“Maybe? We can ask the one with the hats and purses!”

She shows Ellie. “Lots, but none at all.” Just pages it seems.

"Bet it's on that audiobook sstuff Dame Ash set up"

Siiiigh.

"It would be better with pictures."

“I can read it out loud, if you can draw them. We can tuck them in the pages for the next time we read.”

"We can do anything " A nod "It just..takes awhile sometime"

“Pages are better, because you can stop and reread the really nice bits. Buuuut... we could listen to audio with Fontaine. And bubbles!

"Pages are hard. I remember listening really well."

“Si. That’s why I read and you listen.” A grin.

"You're the best."

"Sometimes she tells the stories BETTER than the writers.. like that time Dorothy turned out to be actually a Ninja... " A pause "or was that Toto?"

“It was both!”

"OH .. that's how they got the drop on the witch, decoy!" As if it all makes sense

Then sounds from the hallway...starting out quiet.ish.. but then it turns into the stamp and clamour of boys

A wee nose-wrinkle. "Boooyyyyyyyyyyys."

“Aye, no bueno! So noisy.”

stomp stomp hustle shuffe shove laugh sounds

Ariel says "Girl fun is so much better than boy fun" A look as more laughter echoes down the hall "Right?"

“Si. I bet they don’t even have churros.”

"Better not have churros and not share em" Mutter mumble arms crossed

“But what if they have no churros?” Concern. “They couldn’t make so much noise if they were eating.”

Ariel looks at Ellie "Ellie? Do you think they DO have Churros?"

"I don't think they have churros."

"...Why don't WE have churros?"

"We have no churros" Ariel says feeling a growing alarm

That's when Salma's ear hears a crunching sound.

“¡sospecha! crujiendo!” She whispers to the girls! Suspicious crunching!

A huff! Keeping all the snacks!

"Nooooo!"

More munching

and then Ellie hears "these are great"

She stands! Then, a look of betrayal. “You do not think... Holger, too?”

"They have churros!"

"They might have OUR Churros!" Ariel extrapolates with childling logic
