"I see no reason to stop them from accessing dreamers, but ewe must learn to share. That said, perhaps we can use our resources to muse in the direction of indigigenous heritage"

Jessica nods. "And if they cannot use a Balefire, allowing them a glade seems only just. Right of Rescue.

"We will discuss glades at antohter time. Chieftains, I think I have proven that Countess Jessica is not ready to replace me, but she is also not pretending when she speaks of her desire for peace. Will you visit her at Fenix? I will allow her to speak with my voice on many things"

They consider this.. then nod "If she will have us as guests"

"It would be an honor."

And they rise, make open hand gestures, and leave

Once they are gone, the Duke breathes a sigh of relief "Well, that was fun"

Jessica rises as they depart, and finally seems to relax. A little. "Your Grace, you are well?"

"Well, I had a deadly venomous stinger ready to hit me in the spine for several hours. I suppose, given that little fear factor challenge, I'm dandy" He says an looks at her "I think they were serious at wanting to elevate you. Thank you for declining the position "

"You're welcome. Of course, I would not accept it."

"I know, you acted like being a countess was a dreadfully cruel trick played on you" He reminds

"Well............"

"But you haven't complained much about it, so I won't take revenge by making a barony for your sister under you" Humor? She hopes it's an attempt at humor

"AND she did just let you not get stung out of her sheer devotion to Pax Liamamnica" Buce adds "The stuff of legends"

"Quite" he adds

"I'm glad I was able to help."

"I'm glad you were too. Reminds me. this is your first time at my hold isn't it?"

"It is, Your Grace."

"Well, it's not Fenix, but it's a nice little place" he says "A former lighthouse, considered lucky and blessed both. "

"Do you think we might have a tour?"

"i'll be proud to show you. " And he does. It's a relatively weak hold, but with several treasures and goodies

"The mosaics are particularly interesting."

"thank you. they help advise me"

"I don't follow, Your Grace, but if it is a House matter, I understand."

"Specialized Soothsay and other cantrips that are meant to touch the land and advise"

"I don't have Soothsay." She nods.

"Or Soveriegn... what arts do you possess?"

"Primal, Wayfare, some Chicanery." ((I think....))

"I see.. useful.. useful. I think one thing you might need is a trod.. to get here, but then, if you have a nocker craft I suppose you could take that when you need to visit me"

"Renaissance has trods, but none here. That I know of."

"Would you like one?"

The nocker snorts "She doesn't need no stinking trod"

"I hadn't considered it, Your Grace. Um. I mean.... I can't just rely on Skyhook for a ride whenever. They are very busy there. And, if you would wish to visit....."

"We got this" The nocker insists

"Not fair to you." She insists.

The Liam Duke looks to the nocker, and the Countess, then to Sir Buce "Sir Buce?"

"The Countess is too beatiful in flight... it shall cause distractions"

She lavenders lightly on her cheekbones. "Your Grace, I think you received report of the Grand Tour we held to introduce the various heirs to each other, and Countess Eleanor to Renaissance?"

"I did. I must say, your heir is quite the natural people's person"

"She is. Perhaps you could visit us. Via trod."

"I see..yes, if she ever visits a trod might be.. more child appropriate" He hands Jessica something "Put this against one of your walls , please"

She takes it, then looks.
