Together they step aside. "My Lord.... it seems your promise is a bit....sparing."

"Pardon?" He says "Have I broken some promise to you?"

"No. But I had hoped...." she stops and takes a breath, nods. "No, My Lord, you have not. I look forward to hearing from you."

"No, baroness, please, speak your hopes. We've had too many misunderstandings to leave this nebulous between us to come up again at a later time. What is your wish in this?"

She takes a deep breath. "You said you would provide full transcripts of all the clues that spring from me. Meaning, perhaps, you would not provide information that did not. I feel that is counter productive."

"Ah, my apologies. " He frowns "I meant spring forth for you." OOC: And he did. Fucking typos

Jess nods and ignores the typo. "Thank you, My Lord Tidemarch. And.... I think the childlings had an excellent visit. Thank you for that, too."

"I seemed to have picked up a pIskie" He says "I'll do a background check on the girl"

"She seems .... to be important to the girls." (Collectively)

"I've noticed. It seems a court of childlings is forming under our noses" He says

"That is not a bad thing."

"I suppose it's not" he says wryly watching the girls chatter, "I have not seen Vaeltilde this happy in some time"

"We should arrange to have them together more often."

"I agree. Perhaps I'll send Vaeltilde over through our shared trod with an escort, and your permission if you wish to arrange play dates? They in turn could come through for beach trips." He looks at the beach

"These girls do enjoy the beach, yes."

"I take pride in it myself. It may look like little to mortal eyes, but to ours, well, you see for yourself." A pause "Ah, Countess. Speaking of Vaeltilde and ideas she has. One I've been considering is production of a ship."

"Oh?"

"She wants a longship. It occurs to me, a navy seems odd, but with increased mer activity and nightmare chimera, one or two ships patrolling might be a good idea"

"I wish an alliance if one can be had. A defensive force if we cannot. But I approve of a defensive force being prepared."

A nod "I'll talk to Tweak ..pardon, Mama Captain" Wryly "See if she'd be interested in assisting with the manufacture of same"

"Maybe.... after I get there? Skyhook is our next station on the Tour. "

"Yes, I'll not throw this on the fire until you've passed through, so to speak" He syas. It looks like it's time for them to return as a group. The chldlings are loaded.A meal for all awaits.
