She nods. "Maybe Belle, the yellow dress would be so pretty with blue!"

"Ok, so... Dame Ash, what's left? Anything keeping us from departing??"

"Only gathering Ariel and Salma and Holger. Ahpuch won't be going"

Jess nods. "Ellie, please gather your court."

"May the kittens come?"

Blink. She looks at Ash.

"I'm not sure that's wise, honey, they might get lost while we're on the road"

"Ramona does wander..." A doleful look at the kitten.

"Maria and Rosa and Tonto all agreed to care for them" Ash assures

"They'll do a good job." She nods.

She nods "However, later in the week I will use my phone to call Tonto, and he has promised to use the phoen he has to set up a video conference with the kittens.. if they will hold still. No promise there"

"You can leave them something of yours to sleep with."

"Burrito will hold still."

"Ellie, go make sure your kittens have something to sleep with, -and- gather your court."

A nod

"Si!" She skitters off to make kitten beds and find her friends.

Jess rubs her face.

Duff looks at Jessica "She's a ball of energy"

"She is. She's been through so much, and she still has that energy. And she cares."

Ash nods "I'm very proud she's in my House"

"Dame, can you herd cats... I mean, childlings? I'm going to go make a last round and check the vehicles."

"I'll handle it" she says

"Thank you." Jess glances at Duff and starts out to do as she's said.

Duff goes with Jessica. Once they are furhter out "As hyour personal guard it seems wise to stay near you"

"That.... would seem to be part of it." She pauses. "Thank you for coming. Coy needed to go home, and I need you to take his place. My own safety isn't as much an issue, I can take care of myself. Watch the childlings. Ellie. Ok?"

"I came to protect you" He says

The boggans have already packed a trunk of voile and necessities... but she uses a blanket to make a nest, and debates on leaving her favorite princess doll...

Jess sighs. "Ok. But the best way to do that is to make sure the childlings are safe. Because I'm going ballistic on anything or anyone that threatens them."'

Duff says "you would" A sigh "Very well. With my life, I'll protect them"

That seems to reassure her. "Thank you." But she doesn't move from where she paused.

He touches her cheek,, "It will be all right. You have this. "

She leans in and up and kisses him deeply.

And he returns the kiss, as much belief in the kiss as was in his delcaration.

Eventually, Jessica parts to breathe, and says "I'm sorry to bring you into the court stuff."

"Don't be," he informs her, "It had to be done."

"I needed someone I could trust......"

"You have me" he says "Jessica. I may not always agree with you. I may not always understand you. But I am always here for you. I don't fold. I don't spindle, and I don't break. " A pause "I may have been swindled if the girl decides to have more than one face painting party a day"

A wry smile. "You are probably safe. She seems Seelie."

"hmmmph that doesn't always mean safe" An look at Jessica

Then HE smiles

Jessica makes a choice, and leans closer. She murmurs. "Hey. You wear my tattoo, now." She pets the sash along his chest.

He mutters "About time.. youve been under my skin for a while" And he kisses her anew

She lets, and even encourages, him.

the kiss grows more heated, and he parts affter the intensity grows "How long do you think before we all head out?"

"Not long enough."

Then she lavenders.

A sigh "Well, more fuel for later fires.." A softer kiss this time.

Oh but she wishes there was.... still, she pulls back, nods. "Ok. Let's go."

"Let's"

She nods, straightens, and steps out, patrolling her freehold and then inspecting the vehicles of the Tour.
