"Let's go ask Maria and Rosalita!"

And soon, Rosalita is giving them two carrots

"Muchas gracias!" And the pair fly back to the atrium!

And Sir Buce sees the carrots, and looks tempted but then jerks his head towards the Burra. A Chivalry Cavalry like himself does not go before others.

Well - two girls, two equines, two carrots. No need to wait!

NEvertheless, no carrot shall touch his lips till little Donkey is fed

A gentleman horse!

She sniffs at both carrots, taking her time, before crunching at the smaller one. A lady as well!

A giggle. "So dainty."

A horsey nod off approval

An ear twitches... surely they did say Cake earlier.

Carrots are nice, but... cake.

Ellie offers Buce the other carrot.

And Buce takes it with a gentlehorse chomp.

"Salma, have you ever had carrot cake?"

"She'll have to turn back for that " Ariel turns her head

A blink. And a blink-blink. Once they turn... She does still have the ribbon on her tail, and flowers in her ears. She nibbles at the grassy end of the carrot. "You are trying to steal Tonto's jokes, Ariel. Carrots are nice, but they are not cake.\"

"Salma!" Delighted.

"But there IS carrot cake."

"We'll have to have them prove it"

"The icing is the best, too. It's.. um.."

Sir Buce straightens his helm.

"It's different?"

"Sir Buce, they would not fib about something so sacred as cake?"

"Milady , in mine adventures, I hath seen strange things. And I assure you, cakes are not like pie. Pie is specific, Cake is infinite! Why in some lands, one can eat a cake that is a lie! Other cakes can feed peasants in a famine!"

"But it's still cake. There's cake made out of cheese, so why not carrots?"

"Cake con queso? See, now I know you play games on your Salma." She laughs.

"Nope. Carrot cake is real." Ariel says "I could get some like that" She snaps her fingers "If they're not too busy at the farm and odn't think I'm being cheeky"

"Cheesecake is real!"

"Let's go ask Maria."

Maria listens to this, blinks then says "Si, there is such a thing as Carrot Cake. AND Cheese cake. "

Salma listens, then curtseys low to Maria, from near the ground, she says, "Great lady, you must show me your wisdom. Can you teach me about these cakes?"

"Well, Carrot Cakes are not my usual creation. But I can try" She says

"Salma loves carrots." Helping!

"Maria, will you teach me your magics of the kitchen? I want to know how to make the things you make. And I promise I will be good and not get in the way." Her tail switches.

"I.." At that promise she raises a brow, then says "it is hard work, little one"

"We could help!"

"I can do it!" She insists. "I am little, but strong like Buce, and can stir, and fetch, and taste test...." A little grin at the end. "And clean. I am GOOD at washing up."

"I'll have to talk to Rosalita, we are..very possessive of the kitchen, Salma. And Ellie, that would be TOO many people"

"...oh.."

"Princesca is muy importante and has to do special classes for swords, and for spoons. And Salma waits and reads. But... I could read the cook books. And learn something useful. I would LIKE to help out."

Ariel looks confused And is counting fingers.

"I am too small to be a warhorse and too slow to keep up with our Cabracita."

"You are the scholar. And maybe a brujah?"

"You have to be smart to do magic."

"Si, and I am a donkey, silly. One with a long memory, I store them in my ears."

Maria raises a brow, "You think you cannot be la bruja...and a cook?" A scoff.. She takes the wooden spoon in her hand and points to a pot "TELEMUNDO ZOOMO!"

And the pot glows... hovers..and rises.
