Elias stares at her, and gets his gear back out there.

Nancy smirks as the poor nocker has to reassemble, and adjust. This time he has some odd megaphone looking things, albeit ones made of brass, tin, and. well, varying materials

Clearly he means to sing through different ones

And he starts strumming his electric harp, shifting form harp to guitar to.. .keyboard sounds on the side...

And begins to sing "From the time that he was only three
A bright young boy named Timothy
Had big ambitions, out to change the world
A genius and philanthropist
He'd made quite an extensive list
Of new designs waiting to be unfurled!"

Some of the nockers in the crowd perk up with interest!

"Well he spent his life creating things
Like special shoes that bounced on springs
And toasters that made barbeque pork rinds
But though his inventions all were great
It seemed that he had yet to make
That one to truly benefit mankind!" Elias is behind a cone that gave this opening a deeper bass tone

"But one foggy morning he noticed a cop
Eating some donuts in a coffee shop
As he slurped out the insides of his pastry
Timothy was struck with his best idea!!" And he switches to another giving an echo effect as if ot hers were harmonizing with him for this one "It's the incredible jelly donut juicer!
It can bring so many people joy
Just toss in a donut, turn the knob
And out comes that delicious glob
A treat for any little girl or boy"

Blink.. blink... and then LAUGHING!

"When he had built his prototype
He had sincerely hoped it might
Get noticed at the '29 World's Fair!"

Others are laughing too. Ariel giggles

It's also fun to clap along to!

"He drew a crowd around his booth
Of folks who had a big sweet tooth
From Boston Cream to lengthy French éclairs!" A few people sneak closer to the snack tables ..damn this song

Elias swaps back and forth from different cones to affect his voice, some higher pitched, some low again "Well soon he made the front page news
The world demanded donut juice
And everybody wanted his machine" His fingers put a bit of a jangle in the harp

"The world became obsessed and crazed
With siphoning their jelly glazed
The best phenomenon you'd ever seen!!"

Clem is holding her belly apparently she can visualize it. Mara trying to dejuice a donut

"And when he displayed it at a science fair
A man from a large academy was there
He took just one taste and widened his eyes
And said, "Son we're giving you The Nobel Prize!""

And another cone , another voice "Well every success, it comes at a price
And though his intentions and dreams were nice
The calorie count was just too high
And made everybody grow big and wide!

By guzzling down that tasty glob
The people turned to massive blobs
So Timothy's invention then was scrapped
But he went back home to start again from scratch!"

He finishes up and bows "Back to the old drawing board " he speaks rather than sings.

Well, Ellie at least is still laughing. "It's the incredible jelly donut juicer!

Ariel joins in!

Ash mutters "Oh boy, that one's gonna get a lot of play for the next week"

More giggling from the girls.

A King Eyebrow.

The girls quiet and Nancy says "Next up, Phoebe"

"Mmmmm.... jelly......" Adam hums in Piper's ear, with a nibble there as well.

She smiles, but moves her head away a touch. “Shh, it’s phoebe again...”

"This song is..well, sad, " PHoebe says "I've been told I should warn folks about that"

And a piano has been pulled out

And she plays, showing she doesn't just sing, fingers moving.

And then, she breaks out Adele's Hello! A soul lost... cut off from it's better half.... by her own failings... a heart damaged and lonely

Apolegetic not just for her deed but being herself "It's so typical of me to talk about myself I'm sorry"

"Hello from the other siiiiide! I must have called you a thousand times!"

Piper can feel Adam tense again a bit.

It's just a phone call being ignored. that's all... and yet, it's everything. Shut out. Never to be let in again! Adam can imagine what it would be like if the fae world he knew pretended he was invisible. Piper might feel all too freshly what it's liike NOT to be accepted for her wrongs.

Ariel breaks into tears... she's young but somehow she understands

Oh! Ellie is quick to wrap an arm around her friend - just as Ariel comforted her, earlier.

The little hornless girl sniffles and mutters something about her parents.

She pets Ariel's hair.

Salma sniffles, and pats at Ariel as well, trying to be soothing.

Piper also is moved, and wraps her arms around Adam, feeling his tension- upset? She tries to offer comfort, a soft stroke on his arm, though maybe she misread his reaction...

He buries his face in her hair, avoiding horns, both seeking and giving comfort.

When the song ends... everyone feels, oddly cleansed. Sad songs can be good for that.

Jessica takes a deep, careful breath.

She holds Adam back, unabashedly weeping, though not seeming to be sad. Just, letting them flow.

"Awwww....." a whisper into Piper's short curls.

And Phoebe ends her song then blushes.

And bows

Well, curtseys. Applause does break out. Some teary eyes still
