Salma ventures a glance up, and straightens. "That was magnifico, Princesca."

Piper murmurs to Adam, "Let's let the kids talk, okay? I think I'm ready for a drink."

"I think, sometimes, our Countess does not always understand sidhe..."

"well, she is a troll" Vaeltilde says "But yes, he was furious" Despite the calm demeaner

Then she covers her mouth "I should not have revealed that to you"

"THAT was mad?" Ariel looks surprised

"I heard nothing, my ears are just rushes in the wind." Pleasantly reaching over to take a cookie from Ariel's plate.

Crunch!

Adam nods and walks Piper to get a beverage.

"Pooka are easy to speak to, but their mouths do not betray."

"And my friends are wise."

"Especially not when we have cookies in them." Licking a finger.

Ariel looks over at the Burro "One day I'm gonna yank an ear and not feel bad about it" But she lets it slide

A giggle.

"Vaeltilde, who did you find most pleasing?"

Salma adds, "Remember, Tonto is already ours though, so he cannot be chosen."

"And Ariel, too, is ours."

"I think Bevera has songs that sing to something old in me, but I don't know how well she would do at our hold. Some of the Shadow Houses live there" And she ponders "Piper is really quite good. " A look to the sidhe girl "I think Neema might like our hold as it is closest to the water, but it doesn't sound very.. viking OR russian so ..."

"That is my greatest worry for Bevera - she would do well in a sidhe hold, and I like her very much... "

"Dame Mitra is a regent..."

Piper gets the drink she wanted, and makes small talk with Adam, commenting on this or that or this person, as they await the decision.

"In truth, I think the Baron liked Elias. He found the devices odd and curious and..well, Varich love seeing how things work together..not mechanically but.." Vaeltilde says "In all things"

"Patterns, yes. And nockers, I understand, work well across courts."

Ariel frowns "But he don't want to MAKE em, he wants to play em. He wants to sing and make the music not make the things that make the music. Not fair if all anyone hires him for is crafting"

"Music is full of patterns..."

"Yes, though frankly I prefer a good horn blast now and then. Makes me think I get to burn a village" Vaeltilde sighs wistfully

A giggle.

"You need a ship."

"The Baron says maybe when I become a wilder" Vaeltilde sighs "it's not fair. I bet childlings could raid and pillage too"

Ariel scoots one chair AWAAAY from the Aesin.

"We can raid and pillage the kitchen? So long as we clean up after."

"Certainly! I have had a year of sword training, plus my memories of before..."

"Oh we should spar some time" A nod

"Oh, yes! Do you prefer a light blade or heavy?"

Salma pokes towards Ariel with a churro. "En- Gardy!"

"I work with both, but I guess heavy by a bit. Your house is French, so you know fencing?" The Aesin says

Ariel grins and grabs one "Touch-ay" waving her own churro

"Parry, Parry, Thrrrruuuust!" Ala Daffy Duck.

"Yes, Fireheart is a rapier..." A giggle at her friends. "But I am bested, it seems, in churros!"

"There's a Perri DeBuke. Named after her grandpa!" Stabbing motions of tasty doom

Vaeltilde shakes her head "They need to keep their wrists straighter or they could be killed by someone with a corn cob" VERY somber..then giggles

"A victory!" Salma declares at the giggle.

Suddenly Holger lunges.. Biting first Salma's churro... then Ariels... and he muches... then gulps "mantenido la paz."

"Ahh! Bandito!" And she laughs, jabbinb at Holger with the rest of the churro until they're all covered in crumbs.

"Oh!" From giggles to full-fledged laughter.

Ariel 'beats' the troll on the shoulder "El Jerko!" But she laughs

Holger blushes... but does look a bit pleased with himself.

Vaeltilde is laughing hard as well

"He.. he kept the peace"

"And now all we have is pieces!"
