Piper peers up at Adam, a smile on her face, and she looks puzzled by his frown as she claps. "Wasn't that lovely?"

"Salma, Salma, it's safe now..."

APplause does come out.. Nancy says "For those that want to relieve themselves... change their shorts..whatever, a brief early break, but round two is not over and next will be our friend of the sea. Neema."

"Mmph." Adam grunts, and shrugs.

Conversation breaks out as folks get a break

Ahpuch whispers "why does she play those silly songs when she sings like THAT?"

Clem shakes her head but is impressed. "Shame Zara's not here for that one"

Salma gets a reassuring hug, but there's business to attend. "Ariel, she looks free..."

Ash guides Salma back "Thank you, Salma , for comforting me. I was a bit spooked"

As the Beaumayn lies graciously for the childling's pride' sake

She sniffs. "I'll never tell."

But maybe the strict teacher of dreaded schoolbooks will be seen a little more kindly from now...

She takes Salma's hand. "Come on, we need to try to help Dean."

And she trots along with, letting Ellie take the lead.

Holger looks around the corners then follows the girls.

Clem is talking to Spencer "You shameless flirt"

"I can have shame AND flirt" he protests

"Good evening, Chietain Clem." A curtsy.

"Well, hello, Heir Eleanor" A nod "You're looking quite smashing in your dress there if I may say. Salma and Ariel... you're looking nice in your musical attending clothes too"

"Thank you very much. May we have a moment of your time?"

Ariel says "You.. you heard my song?"

"Sure did.. you were great!" She says tossling the satyr's hair lightly, then nods to Ellie "Surely... might as well. What can I do you for?"

"Ariel is amazing!" Ellie agrees.

"Now - Ariel also says you are the most talented healer she knows. I wondered - have you ever worked on cold iron scars?"

"She was terrible." Salma adds quickly, then whispers to Ellie, "If she wins then other holds will try to lure her away!"

A low whistle "Yes. I have, ain't easy but it can be done. Some drastic stuff"

Ariel lightly elbow nudges Salma

A soft snort back at Ariel, and a smile. Hushing as Ellie speaks up.

"We do have magic healing springs here, Fontaine guards them. They healed me when I was hurt..."

"But did you see the flautist? Dean?"

She turns and looks "I do. handsome feller though I am a bit cautious around satyr fellers of late..." Seven kids. Nope nope nope. Lips that touch pan pipes will never touch mine "But he seems nice enough."

"He does! But his throat, that was done by Balor iron."

At that, a frown and that troll look...like something behind a great stone wall is aching to break out like a dam bursting with a river needing to sweep something away.

Then "Which is why he doesn't sing I take it?" She says "or talk?"

She nods.

"Not fair." Salma frowns. "Not nice, and not fair."

An understatement, to be sure!

"I wish to help him. I have glamour, and can offer you a great boon. I believe Jessica would allow you to use the healing waters..."

"I have glamour too... even if I don't have any boons..."

She checks her pockets. "Nope. "

"A boon is a promise. A debt to pay."

"OH!" Says Ariel, who had been looking down at her own blouse for some reason

A nod! "Her boon is mine too. So you can have both."

And HOPES it will not be the cake...

A low whistle "I'm not sure it can help bring his voice back honey. See... the way I'd heal would be to scrape and if need be burn away the scar... then heal... but vocal cords are a whole nother matter. Even if they fused enough for him to talk, it would be rough ..and, well, frankly? He'd never sing."
