"ALMOST THERE!" She makes herself heard.

"What she said..." A drive and zoom and... the Eshu says "He said they've got another group glamourizing the regular security so they don't get found yet... "

And they're pulling in. Sure enough, the rent-a-cops on staff look to be blissed out

Jessica ignores them (for the moment) and roars past until she can't use the bike to get closer. Then she swings off, grabbing the maul and running towards the (sounds of battle?) as she motions the others to follow.

And they do... Soon enough, they come upon a car of the train that is a testament to misery and inhumanity. The smell of piss and sweat in the crates where girls ages six to ten have been put shoved and pressed with less care than most folks give animals for transport. There's some dead men... looks like they got fucked over hard.

And yes, there are the changelings, her crew, including Phobos trying to hold his brother from bleeding out

Jessica forces herself to assess the situation instead of running over to the redcaps as she wants to.

Coy , the quiet DeBuke and Thane Captain came as back up, "Caspian, you know how to heather balm right?"

"Say no more" He moves to the caps.

What Jessica accesses is a shit storm. Two dozen girls... of various nationalities... traumatized and without identitifcation. Dead men who were treating them like a shipment... ah! They kept two alive! She sees two with minor wounds bandaged... and tied up.

She nods grimmly, promising herself some time with them. Later. For now....... she approaches the girls (kept in a central location?)

More or less just this box car but stacked and piled... not all have been freed yet.

"Get these open, get them out of there." She orders, putting her own action to suit her words.

Tears flow...some of the girls shrink back as if ready to be beaten or worse.

"We won't hurt you. I promise." In Spanish. "You are safe now."

"Gracious..." some mutters "You should help the Americana... she is nearly dead"

"I think she IS dead" Another says

"Where?"

They gesture to one in the far corner..

and... that's not a crate with air holes! There are slits,..and bloodstains.

Jessica, quite simply, takes it apart to rescue who's inside.

The seven year old girl shows signs of what could only be described as a flailing, as if not one, but a dozen belts were applied to her body all over, buckles included, as some sort of lesson. This is not a new beating. Blood has crusted on wounds that are a few days old. Someone shaved her head in parts. It is obvious someone wanted to make an example of this girl.

No.. not an example. Someone was SCARED of this girl

and she barely breathes.

"Shhh...." Jessica soothes, carefully taking her up and out of the train to the sun; she uses her shadow to shelter her from the brightness. "Caspian....." As she approaches the eshu.

"Demos is fine, or will be, " Caspian says with a grin "Don't you worry. I..." Then he sees who she has "Oh by all the roads" he moves to this girl.

Jessica holds the girl, gently, and gives Caspian access.

Caspian seems a bit low on glamour, but that doesn't stop him from trying to heatherbalm again as he says "The lash undone, the bite of steel forgotten. Let flesh be tended now"

and it flows

Jessica catches his wrist and just sends Glamour over.

"Thank you," He says as the girl's breathing grows more regular, and the Eshu blinks "Did you see?"

"See?"

Jessica is mostly focused on the girl.

Which maybe how a 7 year old girl tried to take on a group of grown men.

"No......" whispered. "Yes, I see."

She motions for water.

Fortunately, a flask was brought by Sir Jack "Nice work, Caspian."

"Thanks. It's nice to DO some rescuing. " He admits

She wets her fingers, touches them to the girl's lips, smoothes back her hair.

It's so filthy, the blood in it.. dried, and ..short... the shaved patches uneven.

the true color comes out thanks to her work. This girl is definitely an Anglo in her background.

Thane Coy speaks up "Countess, forgive me but we need to make haste. The cantrips on the security force will only be going so long ans we have so many people to move depending if you want the girls left here for LEGIT authorities to find or brought with us?"

Jessica takes a moment, nods. "Thank you, Thane Coy. I hate this but..... most of them can stay. Leave them our supplies. This girl comes with us; she's ours."

Jack says "Permission to stay behind and make sure that it goes smoothly? I'll hide"
