Dame Inneal Topcog's UDO is a big hit!

Particularly with Shuri who almost lives in the thing!

But to be honest, all the yule creations are really winning.

Tweak's almost reluctant to put limits on Shuri's time in the thing. The girl's buzzing along happily with her space explorations. However, her mother doesn't want her to just be consuming stuff...the girl's gotta do something with it.

So every day there's some time with the age-old technology of paper and crayons.

Oh , Shuri draws constellations! At least, that's what a mother might think they are.

"Awww, Miss Thang...whatchoo got there?" Her mother pauses and crouches down to peer at the paper, pulling her goggles down over her eyes to see them nice and clearly.

It's either the constellation Bootes , or a sick glistening fish

but the star symbols indicate the former

"Heyyyy, now, that's pretty good. You gonna go visit there someday, huh?"

"Yup" the girl says "10,9,eightfiveforetweetwoone"

"Close 'nuff, BLASTOFF!" She grabs up her girl and stands, lifting her high in the air, smiling toothily.

Shuri bubbles with laughter, her goggles making her happy eyes look very large indeed and she flaps her arms like they were wings

"Faster!" A plea/command/cheer

She is very much her mother's daughter in some ways others can't appreciate

"Aye-aye, Cap'n Poopy Pants!" Tweak spins and bobs and weaves her daughter in the air. She's not as strong as Nec, but she can manage a fair ride for the moment.

And her daughter loves it!

But soon, "Ooof, who tol' you t' get so heavy, huh?"

another laugh "madre! " And a hug and slide down

"Dat's awright, Chica-boom. Go do some more drawings, huh?"

Tweak pats her on her way, then stretches out her back with a rueful groan. "Baby elephant," she complains under her breath.

"Kay" Another squeeze and out she goes to her drawings.

Nec smirks "Can you even lift, bitch?" But he kisses her "You want me to slap her around from here so you can rest your arm?"

She pulls him back for another quick kiss. "Yeah, you be Mr. Moms. I gotta get back t' the floor. Yule rush done, an' these jackasses think they can slack off."

"Fuck those lazy bastards," he nods "Tighten them thumbscrews, babe. They deserve it" A fond pat on her butt and he goes over to join their daughter "Pass me the yellow, Tax rebate"

"Dadoo " A smile on the little girl's face and she hands the yellow as they draw together

Tweak watches them a moment... Aw, fuck, that one of 'em Kodak moment shits ...then heads back to oversee the operations and keep creativity rolling along.

There is love in the family, fear on the floor! Which is how it should be.
