Jessica is suddenly alarmed, "The raid... Nunnehi???"

Another voice, John the Nunnehi "Not Nunnehi, but they wanted to pretend to be. You caught them before they coudl fake the raid. I helped."

"What? You did? Tell me...."

"Coffee please?" He says "i've been up all ngiht"

"Of course, of course...." She motions someone, or gives him her cup. "All night?"

He is given his own "Ah, yes. I was there.. I remember things.. a bit fuzzy but.. over all yes. SOmeone tried to pull a boston Tea party. Using the mists to cover it... you know, a slaughter found in the morning with native weapons... and the war is hot again. You were not happy. "

Indeed, she pales. "And?"

"I proved it wasn't nunnehi.. I think ..yeah, wrong design for the area on the weapon. You killed the chimerical minions ..' he looks at the skulls "And you threw the Balor behind it in the dungeon"

He's being guarded by Phobos who is wearing knight's spurs and a confused look

"Sir Phobos. Glad to have you here."

She moves immediately to the Balor. "Start talking. I have no patience with you."

"Thanks." He says , his brow knit at the 'sir' but he nods. "He's been thinking of causing trouble, but the nockers put something in the bars that reversed his sovereign ..."

Jessica's expression darkens. "You have lost ALL my good will. Not that you had any. Start."

"FIne..what would you know? That I thought to bring war to your pathetic county? "

"IS that what you intended?"

"Oh yes.. you've been less than discrete about your de sire for peace, cuntess"

Phobos punches the guy through the bars

"Thank you, Phobos."

"Anytime' he says

The balor now ahs a busted lip

A mother-brow.

And stare.

"Yes, that's what I intended. Your failure would make you look weak... the Duke boy too... further, the nunnehi might resume their attacks for real when they realized some retaliation was under way. "

"And?"

"AND What?" He snorts "It's not complex, troll"

"Fair." Then, to Phobos. "Wall him up until the Duke decides what he'd like to do. If he remembers anything he wishes to say during the process, please record it."

"Oh... well, we don't have much in the way of bricks just now so... take as long as you need."

"Sure will>" Sir Phobos GRINS

Then adds, "Your excellency"

The Balor says "you're mad..."

Jessica leaves.

AN hour later, Phobos reports that the Balor didn't remember everything because of samhain, but when the wall went up, he did give three names... of Balor spies in the area

"Have Mit.... take these names to Mitra, Tweak, Tidemarch and Diego."

"Will do," He nods, then " Uh, boss? "

"Yes, Sir?"

"I think I got knighted last night. You okay with that? I think it was you that did it" He admits

"I am. You, and your brother, as far as I'm concerned. If Demos does not have spurs and will take them, that will happen."

"Demos isn't as crazy about titles. I can ask him.. but I think he'll say no"

"I will respect that."

"I'll get back to the prisoner" He says then grins "Heh... the look on his face when you said that... Good one, Boss"

She looks at him. "I mean it, Phobos. Wall him up. Leave a space for food but....."

"I understand, right of life.. " He says
