A sigh. "I guess. No, I know. You're right. I just feel like.... I should get going on all this. This has been .... nice.... but it's not getting anything done."

"Lowers blood pressure" he says drily

A bit of a blush. "Yes."

She blinks, and then nods slowly.

"Yes, but... I'm not Fiona."

"Fiona don't own love making jessica, they don't own turning to the arms of another for a moment of peace. Even we trolls do so. We're just more private about it"

"Obviously you don't spend a lot of time around Tweak." She grumbles.

"Tweak? Tweak is wise in her way, but nockers are prone to making anything sound unpleasant. You could have the perfect spring day and they'd talk about how it could be improved by a turbine and elbow grease"

"Well, she certainly has firmly held and voiced opinion about the quantity and quality of my sex life." Still grumbling.

"Well, if you are asking for a witness to your skill..." An offer half joking, "Jessica. I'm going to flatter myself and say you enjoy our moments of intimacy. "

"I do."

"And I believe that , despite myself interest in saying so, it relieves some tension and gives you a mental and physical break so you can return to your duties more energized"

"I ... suppose."

"Then don't let Tweak's snapping ruin this mmm?"

A deep breath. "I will try."

"Good, Ocean Eyes. " She is dressed anew, "I like these moments where you share your company, not just the lovemaking, though that is... wonderful, but just being with you alone. If that makes sense?"

"It does." She admits.

"I should go."

"I won't keep you, though I want to" He admits "good luck on the knights and such"

"Thank you." She doesn't move right away.

And he holds her, nto to pull her to bed again, but just to hold her

She allows this!

"I have no idea what it must be like to be tied to a whole city so intimately. "

She looks up at him, nonplussed. "You are."

"mm well, notas..." Thoughtful "Perhaps I am"

She nods. "You are." Certain. "Maybe not exactly like I am, with the 'Fire, maybe from a different angle, with your Court, but you are."

In his arms, Jessica pauses. A long pause. "I've thought, before.... ying and yang. Renaissance. So."

She looks up at him and arches an eyebrow. "Not sure if I should agree, with you."

"Might go to my head mm?"

"Or you might take it, um, sexually." A little blush.

"Oh I like it both ways, above and below." He says "I am quite adaptable

She flushes more.

"Ok, so... um. I should go." She says again.

"Well, I wont' stop you, but I won't push you out the door either" A kiss

She takes another breath, nods, and steps away to button up and fasten anything that isn't.

He watches "Ah, back into hiding go two of the most lovely mountains I've ever traveled between"

She -looks- at him.

"I should probably get past the things you say, shouldn't I." Straightening.

"Well, I do say them when it's just us. I would not make commentary like that where others could hear"

It's clear she never considered he might be that discrete.

"Surely you've noticed?"

"I.... um, I'd only notice if you did it near me, in my hearing."

She looks at him blankly. "You think....... what do you think my concern is?"
